Following a stage 4 bowel cancer diagnosis and six major surgeries, Tracey Davison-Franks found a welcoming community through our free NHS service, which provides tailored exercise support for people living with and beyond cancer. Tracey credits with giving her the confidence to exercise despite having a stoma.

For Tracey, the impact has been personal and profound. And now she’s giving back.

🪩 On 4 September, Tracey and a friend are hosting the Along Came Polly Silent Disco & Auction at Bilton Club - Harrogate to raise funds for the service that has helped her rebuild both physically and mentally.

Join the party and help ensure others can benefit from the same support that has meant so much to Tracey.

Our service is free to anyone with a recent diagnosis of cancer or who is receiving cancer treatment in the Harrogate area. You can either be referred by a healthcare professional or you can self-refer. Read more...

🌭 Fancy a Sausage Sizzle in the summer sunshine? Join Friends of Active Against Cancer on June 26th for a fun-filled evening with live music. Tickets are now on sale for just £5 for 1 sausage - but if you're feeling hungry you can buy 2!

Tickets can be bought from the cabin or from Sylvia. The sausages will be provided by the excellent Audsley's Butchers - please specify if you'd like a vegetarian version.
