It’s worth remembering that as babies grow and become more mobile, crawling, cruising, walking and exploring naturally use more energy and can leave them feeling more tired. When they’re younger, they may not get the same kind of physical tiredness, but they still benefit hugely from gentle stimulation and opportunities to take in the world around them.
Did you know that something as simple as sitting beneath a tree can be fascinating for a baby? 🍃
The movement of the leaves, the changing light, the sounds of the wind and birds all provide gentle sensory stimulation.
You don’t always need expensive toys or busy activities. Sometimes the most magical moments happen outdoors, watching the world go by through your baby’s eyes. A walk in the fresh air or time spent outside can be just as enriching as a structured class, as your baby takes in new sights, sounds and experiences.
And as a bonus, fresh air and natural daylight can help support your little one’s developing body clock too. 🌙
What’s your baby’s favourite thing to watch outside? 💚
