Winter Flu Vaccinations
We are aware that the NHS are sending letters / texts / emails about flu vaccines for the winter period. We will be delivering this service, and in the coming weeks we will send you links to book your appointment directly with us. We will also be ringing you too if you dont have a mobile. Please Do NOT call as the clinics are not ready to book but will be soon and we will be in touch. Let your eligible friends and family know too if they are not on Facebook if you could please.

Find out about the flu vaccine for adults, including who should have it, how to get it and side effects.

Dear all. We're currently working hard with a shortage of staff that's causing some challenges . We understand your frustration when you can't get an appointment sometimes. For this we apologise.
However we will not tolerate any abuse of our wonderful team. Any patients found to be abusive to any member of staff risks being removed as a patient and you will need to find a new surgery.
Please remember all them other options to get help such as you local pharmacy and 111.

The group is now live and those that showed an interest should have received an invite to join the group. You will have to agree to the rules to ensure we have that safe space.

If you haven't received it or didn't previously and would still like to join please comment below as there re still spaces available and we will arrange your invite.

We have tried on a couple of occasions to create a new patient participation group and we have a a number of patients on a list who we will be in touch with in the coming weeks to join our group. However if we can get some more and a range of patients it would be a great help. Our aim is to start with a private facebook group which we have set up ready to add willing patients too but it gives the opportunity to evolve and develop if we want into a group wich can meet face to face.
There are some rules which we must all abide to which will be discussed and explained to the interested patients. The first one is, you have to be a patient at this surgery to be part of the group. If you are interested drop us a message and we will be in touch. If you want some information about what a Patient Participation group (PPG) is, then see below:

What is the Patient Participation Group or PPG? A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of people who are patients of the surgery and want to help it work as well as it can for patients, doctors and staff. The NHS requires every practice to have a PPG. Why should I join? You have been to the surgery as a patient, parent, carer or friend. Your experiences matter and you can bring different ideas to the surgery to help us treat patients better or to improve what we do in some way. You will also gain a better understanding of the NHS, and gather feedback from other patients

What is a virtual group? A virtual group is a group of patients who would like to be part of the Patient Participation Group but prefer not to attend meetings. They get involved by email / social media instead. Information such as practice newsletters, minutes of the Patient Participation Group meetings and surveys will be shared electronically. It means that if you can’t make face-to-face meetings, are caring for someone and unable to leave them, or are working, you can still be kept informed, give your views and participate. Will my views be heard? Your views are important and will be listened to. It may not be possible to act on every suggestion, but all feedback is very valuable. Working in a spirit of mutual respect, openness and trust, all patients' views will be discussed and, where appropriate, we will work together on solutions.

When arriving for your appointment please use our new check in screen and keep the reception desk free for queries. It's simple to use but please ask for help if you need it.
