As summer begins to soften into autumn, it’s the perfect time to turn a little attention back to your skin.

After months of sunshine, warmer weather and time spent outdoors, you may start to notice the signs summer has left behind — pigmentation appearing more noticeable, skin feeling a little drier or duller, or texture looking less even than usual.

Thinking about laser hair removal? Autumn is the perfect time to start 🍂

Laser hair removal is not a one-session treatment. Hair grows in different cycles, which means not all hairs are ready to be treated at the same time. Laser is most effective when the hair is in the active growth phase, so a course of treatments is needed to target the hairs at the right stage.

This is also why treatments are spaced 4–6 weeks apart — to allow time for the next cycle of hairs to enter the active growth phase, ready to be treated at your following appointment.

Autumn is an ideal time to begin, as laser hair removal cannot be carried out on actively tanned skin. With less sun exposure during the cooler months, it is much easier to plan your treatments safely and stay consistent with your appointments.

Want smoother skin? This is where resurfacing comes in.

ResurFACE is a fractional laser treatment designed to improve skin texture, soften the appearance of fine lines and scarring, and stimulate collagen remodelling for progressive improvement over time.

It’s particularly suited to concerns such as acne scarring, uneven texture, superficial scarring, fine lines and stretch marks.

Small changes, big difference ✨

Thread veins can be tiny, but when they’re in a noticeable area they can make a real difference to how even and clear the skin looks.

This before and after shows the improvement following treatment of small facial thread veins — reducing visible redness and leaving the skin looking clearer and more even.

Treatment 2 update ✨

Two IPL treatments in — and the difference in the visible vessels is becoming much more noticeable.

Compared with the before photo, there has been a really clear reduction in the dense network of telangiectasia across the cheek. The vessels are much less prominent, the overall redness is softer, and the skin is looking considerably calmer.

There is still some background redness present, so we’re not at the end of the treatment journey yet, but this is a lovely example of the progressive improvement we can see over a course of IPL treatments.

Rosacea-associated redness and facial vessels can take more than one session to treat effectively, and results build gradually rather than overnight.
