π€ "I fell asleep during my Reiki session... did I miss it?"
This is one of the questions I'm asked most often, and the answer is always the same...
Absolutely not.
In fact, falling asleep during Reiki is often a sign that your body and mind finally felt safe enough to completely let go.
Many of us spend our days carrying stress, worries, responsibilities and endless thoughts. When you enter a deeply relaxed state, your body can take the opportunity to rest and restore in a way it may not have done for a long time.
Reiki doesn't stop working because you're asleep.
You don't need to stay awake, concentrate, meditate perfectly, or do anything at all. Reiki flows where it is needed, whether you're fully awake, deeply relaxed, or somewhere in between.
Some clients remember every moment of their session.
Some drift in and out of sleep.
Some sleep through most of it.
Every experience is different, and every experience is exactly as it should be.
So if you ever wake up and think, "Oh no, I've missed it," please know...
You haven't missed a thing. β€οΈ
Your body simply received exactly what it needed in that moment.
