Modern Life so often has a habit of consuming us, we get so busy with studying, work, marriage, raising our children, juggling everything, we can lose sight of ourselves, the wider aspects of being alive and connectedness. Back in 2004 I had a health crisis which became a turning point for me, I began to change course slowly, leaving teaching and later the corporate world to pursue a path that was more heart felt. I had a re-awakening and realisation of the gifts my grandmother had given me, which in the rush of life I had almost forgotten. The gifts were a deep love and appreciation of nature, a true connectedness that began to blossom once more. My grandmother would take me on long country walks as a child, taught me the names of wild plants, trees, butterflies, birds and used old folk remedies, she delighted in sharing this with me. I studied holistic therapies, like steppingstones leading me forward, bringing knowledge as I went. I took further courses in ethnobotany, herbal medicine, and shamanism, finally finding where my heart was. I am passionate about working with people in a spiritual and nature centred way, to support them in finding balance, healing, and to rediscover themselves once more. As a Soul Midwife it is my privilege to be present for those nearing the end of life, offering companionship, loving care, gentle holistic therapies and spiritual support as well as helping to think about practical matters. If you would like to chat about how I could support you, please do get in touch.
