Why did I leave the NHS??

I wouldn’t change those last 28 years for anything. They’ve shaped me into the doctor I am today. I learned so much, I met some incredible people and I loved doing what I did.

But now my day-to-day work has a slightly different focus that’s all.

I’m still a doctor. I’m still governed by the same robust governance structures. It may not be life-saving, but it can definitely change lives.

Confidence isn’t vanity.

It’s the quiet foundation beneath everything we do, and every conversation we have.

So many of you have told us how hard it has become to get a GP appointment and how rushed it can feel when you do. We felt it too, and we knew that the same warm, doctor-led, take-our-time approach we bring to skin and aesthetics could make a real difference in primary care as well.

So in answer to your questions:

🌟 What our private GP service can offer you is more time with an experienced GP in a friendly environment at a time that suits you

🌟 Going private does NOT mean you have to opt out of the NHS completely - our ethos is to work alongside the NHS but offer you more flexibility.

🌟 We can offer blood tests with quick turnaround results

🌟 And if something turns up and you require further investigations or specialist referral - these can happily be arranged back in the NHS or to any of our network of expert private specialists according to your preference!
