New Spectacular Soundbath Session in Central Guildford in July.
Sound meditations for health and wellbeing.

I am delighted to announced that I will be running a new gongbath session on 18th July at 7pm in the stunning setting of Holy Trinity Church in central Guildford.

This will be an amazing opportunity to experience the therapeutic sounds of a range of large gongs as their deep calming tones interact with the acoustics of this incredible building.

This will be the first time the gongs have been heard in this amazing location and it will make this a very special event.

The gongs will mostly range between the 36-42 inch size in order to create a deep and powerful effect for you, creating the opportunity for a powerful dialogue between the mind and body, along with the gongs and the fantastic acoustics of the building. This interaction will provide a unique sound meditation experience like no other.

I have played in a wide variety of beautiful and inspiring settings including St Pauls Cathedral, Wisley Gardens and 4 years of sessions at Kew Gardens. I also use a sensitive multi-sensory approach to my playing style which means that I work closely with the environment to provide a powerful and yet gentle and intricate sonic meditation experience.

I hope you can join me for what will be a very memorable first sound journey event at this iconic building in the centre of Guildford.

Perfect weather for an outdoor forest gongbath today!

There will be the first forest session this season tonight at Alice Holt Forest - Forestry England and the weather looks great, no rain forecast all day and it will be sunny by the time of the session itself.

This is a rare opportunity to experience the synergistic blend of sound and nature directly in a beautiful location.

Deep Relaxation Soundbath Session at Cowdray Hall in May.

It is a great pleasure to have provided regular monthly sound sessions at Cowdray for over 5 years in this stunning and tranquil location. I bring a wealth of experience with sound and also having been a musician for over 40 years, this combined with my personal approach to playing the gongs which has been an integral part of my own life path. Using a unique multi-sensory approach to make every session a powerful and varied sonic journey through sound which reaches far beyond the normal soundbath experience.

My regular monthly sound meditation session will take place at Cowdray Hall on Friday 22nd May at 7pm.

Forest Gongbath this week at Alice Holt.

Thursday will be the first outdoor forest gongbath session at Alice Holt. The weather forecast for the day is looking dry and absolutely perfect for the session.

This is a rare opportunity to connect directly with nature in a stunning location and to explore the intricate link between the multi-sensory aspects of listening and its deep connection to the natural environment.

Sessions every month from May to September.

Summer Solstice Gongbath In Grayshott.

Saturday 20th June, 7pm. Grayshott Village Hall.

Listen and relax to the calming and therapeutic tones of a selection of large gongs in a sound meditation session for relaxation and wellbeing to celebrate the summer solstice.

I am pleased to be returning to Grayshott Hall for another solstice sound session. This will be a rare opportunity to experience a selection of around 7 large gongs which will create an enormous and complex range of sounds for you to relax and enjoy.
My other regular venues in this area cannot normally accommodate this particular selection of instruments and so it will be very different from my normal sessions. I am really looking forward to sharing the sounds of these incredible instruments with you.

No previous experience is needed. All will be explained at the beginning of the session.

Adventures in sound by the sea!

Thank you so much to everyone who came to the gongbath session at Southsea Castle on Tuesday, especially since there was a last minute drama and a necessary change of location!

The session was planned to take place on the top of the keep looking out to sea. After setting up the gongs, just before everyone was due to arrive a powerful wind came out of nowhere, creating a whirlwind effect within the circular castle walls! Unfortunately 2 of the gongs blew over, which was quite expectional considering their combined weight. Sadly 2 of the gongs and the stands were damaged in the fall.

At the last minute I had to change the location to a wonderful space within the castle keep itself. I am very grateful for everyone who came to the session and for being so accommodating for the last minute change of location. The castle keep was no less spectacular and worked perfectly for the session. The curved roof added a unique acoustic effect to the sounds. It was an amazing location for the session and far easier to manage without the unexpected wind!

The feedback was very positive and I am grateful that the session worked out okay in the end. The castle was an incredible space and I am really grateful for the opportunity to run this special event at the castle.
