Is it an emoogency? 🐮
We're building something we're rather proud of, and we need brilliant people to be part of it.
Introducing the Moogency. Our very own cover agency, for our very own emoogencies.
Here's the thing. We're a group of seven busy salons, and we look after each other fiercely. But sickness happens, columns fill up, and sometimes we simply need a fab pair of hands to step in and save the day.
So we've created our own little agency to do exactly that.
How it works is lovely and simple. We let you know which days need cover and where. If a shift suits you, you put yourself forward. If it doesn't, no problem at all. You pick up the work that fits around your own diary, and nothing more.
We're looking for Nail Technicians and Beauty Therapists who are confident across a good few of these:
*Nails, manicures and gel
*Pedicures
*Waxing, including intimate
*Lash and brow
You don't have to be brilliant at all of them. You just need to be strong in a few, so we can drop you into a full column knowing you'll fly.
More importantly, you'll be kind, warm and the sort of person who can walk into a brand new salon, smile, and just get on with it.
A few essentials. You'll have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Beauty, or equivalent. We can accept some in-person short course certificates, but no online only training (our standards matter too much for that one).
And you'll need your own car, as our salons are nicely spread out.
The good bits? You can work with us as self employed and invoice us, or on a casual contract with holiday rolled into your rate. Either way, we cover your travel on top.
It's genuinely flexible, well-paid, no-fuss work, perfect if you already work for yourself and fancy filling the quieter gaps in your week.
