Angela Thompson Seasonal Yoga Living in rhythm with nature through seasonal yoga, EFT and restorative wellbeing. Small group classes and 1:1 sessions in and around Haslemere.

I have practiced yoga for over 30 years having studied under the inspirational 85 year old Monette Goetnick whist living in Los Angeles. I am a Seasonal yoga teacher and also a yoga therapist. I embrace a wide range of yoga practices working with calming yin/restorative style yoga as well as more powerful vinyasa seasonal flows. We can work together adjusting your yoga sessions as needed. I am a qualified meditation teacher. I also practice EFT and am a Reiki 2 practitioner.

Restorative Yoga at 9.30 a.m at the beautiful White Eagle Lodge.

An hour to slow right down and reset after the summer - with cacao, EFT tapping, gentle mindful movement, deeply supported restorative poses, Tibetan bowls, drumming, crystals, poetry and relaxation.

If the weather is kind, we may even practice outside in the gorgeous grounds- so please wear layers!

I’ve been feeling really drawn to flower remedies recently, and brought these three home with me from Into The Wild Festival -Magnolia, Wild Rose and Sovereign Hawthorn.

I’m going through quite a time of transition myself at the moment, with my youngest heading off to university and life beginning to shift into a new chapter. So I’m going to spend some time working with these remedies, as well as exploring how I might weave them into my retreats.

I love finding little practices and rituals that encourage us to pause and notice what’s going on beneath the surface — particularly during times of change, when we can be feeling excitement, sadness, fear, uncertainty and possibility all at the same time.

I’ll be sharing a little more over the next few weeks about some of the things that are inspiring me at the moment, many of which will be finding their way into my November day retreat. x

Gentle Chair Yoga – local classes

Would you like to keep moving, improve your strength and balance and enjoy the benefits of yoga – without needing to get up and down from the floor?

My Chair Yoga classes are gentle, friendly and suitable for a wide range of abilities. We work on mobility, strength, balance and flexibility, with plenty of options and adaptations, followed by breathing and a lovely relaxation.

No previous yoga experience is needed.

Weekly classes – £10

Monday 9.30am – Liphook
Monday 11am – Elstead
Monday 3.30 p.m Stedham
Tuesday 11.30am – Godalming
Thursday 10am – Chiddingfold
Friday 9.30am – Grayshott

Gentle Yoga in Godalming

My Tuesday 1.30pm Godalming class is a small, friendly, gentle class where we take things at a slower pace, with plenty of options and modifications.

Perfect for older students, beginners, anyone returning to yoga or recovering from injury - or simply if you prefer a gentler approach.

We will enjoy slow mindful movement, balance, breath work and guided relaxation.

Tuesdays 1.30pm - Godalming Unitarian Church
£15 drop-in | £13 per class with a block booking

New students very welcome.

What a fabulous morning at the inspiring The Barn at Haymans Farm. We enjoyed gentle chair yoga, EFT, Cacao, mindful walking amongst the flowers accompanied by our yoga cat, yummy homemade cakes and a relaxing guided relaxation. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped create the magic!
