Who I Am

I’m Annie — founder of Hurst Health Hub, and the person juggling a lot behind the scenes. I’m an acupuncturist by training — I studied at the International College of Oriental Medicine in East Grinstead, one of the UK’s leading colleges for Chinese medicine, completing my BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture. It’s a training I’m incredibly proud of, and it underpins everything I do both in clinic and in how I’ve built the Hub.

I have three children — one at university studying Aerospace Engineering, one doing his A-levels and playing football, and my youngest at college playing rugby. They are my greatest achievement, far more than anything I’ve built professionally.

Outside of work you’ll find me on the Downs with Mabel — a Jack Russell-Dachshund, impeccably behaved, and the best company going. My youngest plays rugby and winter weekends are rarely quiet. In between I play padel and try to actually rest occasionally.

The Hub exists because I wanted to create somewhere that felt genuinely human — for everyone who walks through the door and the team who works here. I think we’ve done that.

👣 A little update from clinic…

Things have been getting busier (thank you so much to everyone who’s been in recently 🙏), so I’ve now added Mondays alongside Tuesdays at Hurst Health Hub.

If your feet have been bothering you — whether it’s nails getting harder to manage, hard skin building up, or just general discomfort — it’s often much easier to get things sorted sooner rather than later.

Having the extra day means a bit more flexibility for appointments, and hopefully less waiting if you’ve been meaning to book in.
