Today is World Environment Day 🌍💚

At Dolphin, we’re committed to making eco-friendly improvements across our services, as well as hosting quarterly Green Committee forums to keep both staff and the people we support informed and involved.

This fantastic montage was created by Atiq, one of our service users at Kingfisher Court. Atiq not only helped support and fund updates to the garden, but also played a key role in transforming it into a greener, more welcoming space for everyone to enjoy, and what an amazing transformation it is!

Next week, Atiq will be hosting a garden party and gardening session, giving all Kingfisher residents the chance to name their own plants and enjoy the beautifully improved outdoor space together. 🌿✨

We are incredibly privileged that Axelle, a person who live in one of supported living services, trusted us to record her speech of her journey with mental health.

Designed to promote relaxation, comfort and meaningful engagement, this calming new space will support the wellbeing of the people we care for every single day.

Today at Dolphin Homes, we came together for our Tea & Talk coffee morning; a chance to pause, connect and remind one another that it’s okay to talk about mental health💚

Staff were invited to wear green in support of mental health awareness and to help spark open, supportive conversations across our services. From a cuppa and a chat to simply checking in with a colleague, today was all about creating a safe space where people feel heard, valued and supported.

In care, we spend so much time looking after others, but it’s just as important that we look after ourselves and each other too.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today and helped make the morning so warm, welcoming and meaningful!

This fantastic result is a reflection of the compassion, dedication and hard work shown every single day by our incredible team, who continue to provide high-quality care and support in a warm, safe and welcoming environment.

The inspection recognised the positive experiences of residents, the commitment of staff, and the strong culture of care throughout the service!
