* GP Activity Data - April 2026 *

As part of the GP Contract in Wales, Practices are required to report monthly activity data to the Welsh Government on specific areas of activity and share with our patients.
Infographics are shared monthly and previous activity can be found on our website: https://meddygfapenrhyn.nhs.wales/
Please be aware appointments include telephone consultation bookings.
Not all administrative activity is included, however this should give you a snapshot of the activity undertaken in the practice.

✨PATIENT NOTICE - Electronic Prescription Service

On the 15th July the practice will ‘go live’ and use the Electronic Prescription Service. This is a free, secure NHS service.
Electronic Prescriptions are an easier way to get your medicines. Instead of printing and signing paper prescriptions, our staff will send them directly to a pharmacy of your choice.

‼️IMPORTANT PATIENT INFORMATION ‼️

The Surgery will be CLOSED from 1pm until 5pm this Wednesday 17th June for staff training.

If you require urgent medical advice or treatment when the practice is closed, NHS 111 will be available or in an emergency dial 999.

For minor conditions, your local pharmacy offers free healthcare advice and may also provide treatment through the Common Ailments Scheme.

If you are feeling distressed about your mental health, or need advice, you can call NHS 111 and choose option 2 to speak to a mental health professional 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Thank you for your understanding.

🗣️ We have launched an eight-week consultation on stroke services.

We’re gathering feedback on a preferred option for how stroke services could be delivered across our four main hospitals.

You can get involved by coming to one of our events, either online or in person, and by reading the information on our preferred option, and sharing your views through our questionnaire.

We would really appreciate you taking the time to come to one of the sessions where you can speak to our team and share your thoughts and feedback with us.

To find out details of our events, including times and locations please follow the link in the comments below.

🔗 More information is available including questionnaire and documents in accessible languages on our Health Board’s dedicated consultation webpages.
