Shortly after birth, Dulcie became seriously ill with group B Strep infection and spent two weeks in neonatal intensive care. Thankfully, she recovered, but it was a frightening and overwhelming time for the whole family.
During that time, Andii found support and information through GBSS, helping their family understand what had happened and feel less alone.
Andii said: βLast year, I walked 31 Miles in October alongside Dulcie and her proud big sister Lyla to raise awareness and funds for GBSS. It's a cause very close to our hearts.β
This October, we'd love you to join families like Andii's and take on 31 Miles in October for GBSS.
You can walk run, cycle, swim or wheel your miles - wherever and whenever suits you. And by asking friends and family to sponsor you, every mile you complete can help raise vital funds for GBSS.
All the money you raise will help us support families, raise awareness and provided trusted information to new and expectant parents as we work towards fewer babies developing GBS infection.
