Does Your C-Section Scar Still Pull or Feel Numb?

Your C-section scar may have healed on the outside, but it may still feel tight, numb, sensitive or uncomfortable underneath.
You may notice pulling or tugging when you stretch, exercise or stand upright. Perhaps the area feels disconnected from the rest of your body—or you simply do not like touching it.
Our C-section scar therapy combines gentle osteopathic scar release with TECAR or laser therapy. Treatment is designed to improve the movement and comfort of the skin and tissues around the scar.
Your first step is a consultation with one of our osteopaths that specialises in scar treatments and the use of the advanced technology we have to further speed your scars healing and help appearance. She will listen to your concerns, examine the scar and explain whether treatment may be suitable for you.
A special consultation discount is currently available.
Call 01444 410944 to book or send us a DM with any questions.

C-section scars can be healed on the outside but still feel tight, numb, sensitive or restricted underneath.
Scar tissue can affect how the lower tummy, fascia and abdominal tissues move — and for some mums, this can create a feeling of pulling, discomfort or disconnection from the core.
Our new C-Section Scar Reset is a gentle starter package for postnatal mums.
Suitable for many mums from around 6–8 weeks post-birth once medically cleared, and also helpful for older C-section scars.
