I’m Corrie, owner of Herts & Beds Aesthetics, and I’ve been working in aesthetics for over 8 years.

I’ve been a little quiet when it comes to advertising CO₂ laser recently… ☀️

With the recent UK heatwave, it’s important to be sensible. Freshly treated skin is far more sensitive to UV exposure, so I always encourage clients to protect their results and avoid unnecessary sun exposure during periods of intense sunshine.

But that doesn’t mean CO₂ has to wait until winter…

Skin boosters are one of my favourite treatments for clients who want to look fresher, smoother and more hydrated — without changing their face.

But the key is consistency. Just like anti-wrinkle treatments, skin boosters aren’t really a one and done treatment.

Regular maintenance helps support:

Under-eye polynucleotide results after just one treatment ✨

This client presented with dark pigmentation and hollowing under the eyes. The after photo was taken just 2 days after her first treatment, and we’re already seeing a brighter, smoother and more refreshed under-eye area.

Polynucleotides work by stimulating your body’s own collagen and tissue repair, improving skin quality rather than adding volume.

✨ Brightens dark circles
✨ Improves fine lines and crepey skin

These are still very early results. The best improvements are usually seen from 21 days onwards, and this client has been advised that an additional treatment will help achieve the best outcome.

One of the biggest misconceptions about skin boosters is that they’re a one-and-done treatment. They’re not.

Just like anti-wrinkle treatments, great skin is about maintenance. Skin boosters work to improve hydration, skin quality, elasticity and that healthy, fresh glow from within, and regular treatments can help keep your skin looking plumper, smoother and healthier over time.
