I am always spritzing my protection/cleansing spray- good day or bad!

“But Teri, why do you spray it on a good day?”

Because sometimes energy needs to be neutralised. That day I had seen 3 clients, plus colleagues, plus my online interactions. By the time I was walking out, I had plenty of energy from not just me but others too. Then I was leaving to head home and relax. I wanted to neutralise that energy so that my new intention of relaxation at home could take hold. I was so grateful for such a beautiful day, but now it was time to switch gears. I learnt when I was teaching to leave work at work, and whilst running your own business doesn’t always make that possible, I do try my best.

Boundaries don’t make you a bitch, unkind, mean, or “less spiritual”.

Very regularly I see people in this space interpreting their own lack of boundaries as a way of being “holier than thou”.

Just because your boundaries in your business suck doesn’t mean mine have to. Sorry if that’s triggering, but that’s the reality.

Yes, there should be an exchange for energy output. You wouldn’t expect a free haircut or tattoo because the person doing it has a gift/talent…. So why do we treat the spiritual space differently?

Yes, I do have rules and processes for my business. I don’t really care what you find inconvenient- it works for me, and if you don’t like it, that’s okay. Having a boundaried way of working doesn’t make me a monster, I am protecting my peace.

Yes, I book days off and time off. I will not always be available and if that bothers you that you can’t book a session with 2 hours notice, feel free to find another practitioner.

I also see so many clients whose empathy drains them because so many people in their life take advantage. They are worried about how they will be perceived if they set boundaries - it’s scary and daunting if you’ve never done it.

Boundaries are such an important part of spiritual hygiene and sacred self care. I can’t say it enough.

These are the two ✨abundance✨ crystals I’ve been working with lately, and I think are why things feel so good right now.

First up is my citrine palm stone. Citrine is known for its abundance properties but it goes far beyond finances. Because it resonates with the solar plexus, it encourages that “feel good”, manifestation type mindset - or at least, it does for me. A pocket rocket of motivation!

Alongside that I’ve loved my honey calcite. First of all, I’m a huge fan of the texture of this crystal- I get its marmite, and some people dislike it, but I find it really soothing to hold and play with because of its waxy feeling. Beyond its physical consistency, I personally find all calcites emotionally feel like a hug in crystal form for whatever chakra they resonate with. I find this stone gentle encouragement, quiet joy, a bit of a reminder of the little things that are great that we maybe miss in the every day. I feel like it’s message to me lately has been “One bad thing doesn’t make it a bad day.” And that’s really, really helped.

The fact that I feel them like this doesn’t make me special, it’s just a spiritual muscle of sorts that I’ve developed over years. Today is the first day in a long time I have felt like I’ve had energy for the day. I felt so energised and am ending the day feeling super accomplished and grateful.

I am so grateful I get to grow my baby boy whilst doing what I love.

I am also extremely grateful to the souls I shared time with today- 1:1 sessions, meetings with potential guardians for my unit, time with my partner, a quick visit to see my bestie- my life is so full of wonderful human beings.

Now it’s time for a bath, skincare & bed, physiotherapy appt tomorrow and some work from home on more content and exciting things coming this summer, and then a VERY exciting Dragon Energy Workshop on Friday! 🐉

I truly feel abundant in so many areas right now- tomorrow I’ll share the crystals I’m working with that have helped bring that on ❤️
