Can we talk about the part that everyone seems to miss out? 😅
The treatment room gets all the love and don’t get me wrong, it deserves it! But for every hour I spend with a client, there is probably another one happening at my kitchen table.
Replying to emails & DMs, updating the website, doing my accounts, posting on Instagram (hi 👋🏻) rescheduling appointments, planning, learning etc
I wouldn’t swap it for anything but it is true that you work harder and longer hours than ever when you work for yourself. The image of ‘freedom and flexibility’ is true to a degree but it’s Thursday evening at 8:15pm and I’m writing this caption 🥲
The difference is that it is mine, every booking, every returning client, every five-star review. It’s my dream that I’m building on, and somehow we have made it this far from a little business I built from scratch with a £30 Facebook Marketplace massage bed and absolutely no plan …!
