20 midwives. One opportunity to make a difference. ❤️
In just a few weeks, The Real Birth Studio CiC will be travelling to Nepal to begin the next phase of a project that has been two years in the making.
For the last 12 months, they've been working alongside Nepalese midwives to translate and culturally adapt RealBirth. Now they are ready to take the next step — training the first 20 Nepalese midwives.
We’ve launched a Crowdfunder to help raise £5,000, with £250 funding the complete four-day RealBirth training for one midwife.
And the response already has been wonderful — we’ve had our first donations within hours of launching. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us already. 💗

Our ambition is much bigger than training 20 midwives. We want to support Nepalese midwives to become trainers themselves, so the knowledge can continue to be shared within their own maternity services and communities.
