I am a Mat level 3 qualified Pilates teacher, I have been teaching since 2010 & have practiced Pilates since 2002. I offer both group and private one to one classes in the Herefordshire and Powys area. In addition I run a private Facebook Group where I share weekly prerecorded classes as well delivering live weekly Zoom classes. Pilates lengthens & strengthens all the muscle groups and in partic

ular those deep core muscles, which are so important to our overall health and well being. Pilates practiced on a regular basis can have numerous benefits: improved strength, flexibility,coordination, balance & most importantly our posture.

AUTUMN 2026 | PILATES EMMA

September marks the start of a new season of Pilates, with a full programme of regular classes, private Reformer sessions and focused workshops to support and develop your practice.

WEEKLY MAT CLASSES
Regular group Mat classes throughout the week, with progressive teaching and a strong focus on precision, control, breath and the Pilates Method.

1:1 REFORMER
Individual Reformer sessions, tailored to your needs, goals and level of experience.

MONTHLY SUPER SATURDAY
Our monthly extended session (1.5hrs) providing the opportunity to explore repertoire in greater depth.

Our first Super Saturday will be 19 September | Reformer on the Mat — using the principles and repertoire of the Reformer to enhance your Mat practice.

AUTUMN / WINTER WORKSHOPS
A new series of focused workshops, each dedicated to developing a particular aspect of your Pilates practice.

First up: MASTER THE ROLL UP
A detailed exploration of this classic exercise, looking at technique, articulation, control and how to develop a stronger, more effective Roll Up.

I have emailed you the August dates but to remind you that we also have a couple of lovely get-togethers before I head off for a little summer break…

🌿 Wednesday 5th August | Garden Pilates | 6:00pm
Join me for an evening of Pilates in the garden, followed by drinkies … The perfect way to enjoy a summer evening together. 🥂💛

✨ Saturday 8th August | Summer Super Saturday | 8:30–9:45am
Our final Summer Super Saturday fling | let me know if you fancy joining.

After that, I’ll be taking a little time to recharge, with the studio closed from 12th August before reopening on 1st September.

Horseback on Reformer and Spine Stretch Forward on the Mat are a lovely combination, each exercise supporting the other.

Horseback helps promote Centre strength, adductor connection & spinal length in flexion while Spine Stretch Forward encourages mobility, flexibility & in turn healthy happy supple spine.

On the Reformer I like to modify the shoulder circles into gentle ovals. Further note | using a Pole on the Mat can help prepare the shoulders & arms for working with the hands in straps, building confidence and body awareness along the way.
