I am a Mat level 3 qualified Pilates teacher, I have been teaching since 2010 & have practiced Pilates since 2002. I offer both group and private one to one classes in the Herefordshire and Powys area. In addition I run a private Facebook Group where I share weekly prerecorded classes as well delivering live weekly Zoom classes. Pilates lengthens & strengthens all the muscle groups and in partic

ular those deep core muscles, which are so important to our overall health and well being. Pilates practiced on a regular basis can have numerous benefits: improved strength, flexibility,coordination, balance & most importantly our posture.

New Month of Classes = Stretchy Band Time 🌸

This month we’ll be spending 50% of the class exploring movement with the stretchy band and 50% enjoying our classic mat Pilates flow.

The band will help us prepare for and deepen sequences built around:
• Single Leg Lift Bridges
• Single Leg Stretch
• Single Leg Lift Leg Pull
Expect an equal blend of strength and stretch as we use the band to improve control, stability, mobility, and body awareness. A great opportunity to challenge your Pilates practice while giving your body some extra support and feedback along the way.

Looking forward to a month of band play and mindful movement!

R is for Repetition..

As a teacher, I’m not afraid to repeat the same repertoire of movements over several weeks.

Throughout May, our focus on both the Mat & Reformer has been on shoulder stabilisation and mobility — building strength, control, and freedom of movement through consistent practice.

Why repetition? Because repetition develops strength, confidence, and body awareness. The more we practise a movement, the deeper the connection becomes — refining technique, improving control & allowing us to recognise progress along the way.

There’s something incredibly empowering about returning to an exercise that once felt challenging and realising how much stronger and more capable you’ve become.

Progress in Pilates isn’t always about constantly learning something new. Sometimes, it’s about mastering the fundamentals and appreciating the small improvements that create lasting change. 🤍

Happiness is moving your body in a way that feels good.

Happiness is showing up for yourself, even on the days you don’t feel like it.

Happiness is the energy in the studio when we exercise together, support each other & share smiles… usually when I fluff my lefts & rights!.

Our Good Friday sessions were the perfect example | atmosphere was so uplifting, positive & full of giggles … Thank you x
