🌞 VOLUNTEER WITH SNAAP THIS SUMMER 🌞

What does volunteering at Buzz Club look like? 👀

🎨 It looks like getting stuck into crafts, joining in games and celebrating the little victories.

😜It looks like laughter, messy play, silly jokes and helping children build confidence and friendships.

Buzz Club is our holiday playscheme for children aged 8–13 and we're looking for a few more volunteers to join us this summer.

You don't need lots of experience – just kindness, enthusiasm and a willingness to have fun.

A big Thank you Herne Bay Hockey Club for organising a day of hockey & fundraising on Saturday the 4th of July on behalf of SNAAP. This is looking like a great day out with SNAAP parents having a team playing, a raffle, food and a bar.
Every raffle ticket purchased, every burger bought and every cheer from the sidelines helps support SNAAP and shows what makes Herne Bay Hockey Club so special.

🏊‍♀️💦 Exclusive Family Swimming Session 💦🏊‍♂️

Looking for some family fun in the pool? Join us for our Exclusive Family Swimming Session this Sunday! Enjoy a relaxed and private swimming experience with your loved ones in a safe and welcoming environment. Whether you're splashing with the kids, building confidence in the water, or simply having fun together, this session is perfect for families of all ages. Claire will be in the pool to offer support. Spaces are limited, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment!

Join us on Wednesday for our early years group at Windchimes - a purpose built disabled children's resource centre. Lovely facilities including large soft play room, sensory room, playroom, sensory play, games and toys. Large outside space to let off steam.

Our Family Support Worker is on hand to help so pop in and see us. Come down the side of the building to the back gate and press the SNAAP bell.

💙 Happy Father's Day from all of us at SNAAP. 💙

SNAAP-EY's, our little ones got creative making handprint keepsakes this week. From tiny painty hands to one very sleepy baby who nodded off mid-session 💤

As we share these lovely creations, we know Father's Day can mean different things to different families. Today, we're celebrating all the dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures and special people who offer love, care and support to the children in their lives 🥰

We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to support disabled children and young people at:

🏖 Family beach and park days
🎨 Buzz Club holiday playscheme (ages 8–13)
🎳 Youth Club community outings (ages 14–25)

Volunteering with SNAAP is a chance to:

✨ Meet amazing families and volunteers

Drop in group for parents (or carers and grandparents), babies and toddlers - no diagnosis needed.

A safe place for your children to play while you get to chat to other parents, SNAAP staff and volunteers. Our Family Support Worker is also on hand to help with any issues or concerns.

🎾A Challenge with Heart 🎾

We're delighted to share that Kasen's 14-Hour Tennis-a-thon is officially confirmed!

📍 Polo Farm, Canterbury
📅 Saturday 18th July 6am-8pm

Kasen is taking on an incredible endurance challenge to raise funds and awareness for SNAAP, and we're so grateful for the support already shown. Thanks to generous donors, the fundraiser has already raised £308– a fantastic start! 🌻

This event promises to be a brilliant day of tennis, community spirit, and fundraising, with plenty of food, fun, and encouragement along the way. From curry and cakes to a BBQ, there will be something for everyone!

We'd love your help in making this event a huge success and support Kasen on the day to keep going:
