Exfoliation enables the top layer of the skin to be nourished. By removing dull skin debris skin cells are continually developing and transforming. Cell turnover is happening all the time - meaning that dull cell debris continues to build up too.
To keep the skin looking fresh and flawless the skin should be exfoliated as part of your nightly regime. Consider it as a workout for the skin!

Janice, aged 66 years was concerned about improving the condition of the skin of her hands with a focus on reducing age spots. She has always looked after her hands by applying regular hand cream with SPF 15. In the past 5 years she applied high factor sun screen when outdoors.
Janice has played golf for the past 14 years. She wears a glove on the left hand so the age spots were more prolific on the right hand.
For her treatment plan we completed six Derm-a-renew (fruit acid Peel), hand treatments. As the hands are less sensitive than the face we were able to build up both the duration and % of acid used. After the first treatment we saw an immediate improvement of skin texture. By the end of the course was visible improvement of skin texture, less lines and significant fading of pigmentation. Janice applied home care daily throughout the course to maximise results.
We stopped at six treatments as Janice was off skiing. She continued to use the Sun Elixir and Intensa hand cream during this trip. On her return the hands were lightly tanned but the pigmentation remained improved.
