My mind needs a break. Regularly. Non-negotiably.

And if you’re anything like me — driven, always thinking, always building — yours probably does too.

I just got back from Majorca, and it was exactly what I needed. A proper mix of relaxation and dancing until my feet hurt. (Yes, I still party — I just do it without alcohol these days. My nervous system made that decision for me. Turns out, a glass of wine and crippling anxiety the next day isn’t the vibe.) But music? Dancing? That’s regulation for me. My body moves, my brain switches off, and I come home feeling genuinely restored.

Reformer Pilates gives me that same gift every single week. One hour where my mind has one job — focus on the movement, focus on the breath. Nothing else gets in. No to-do lists, no business decisions, no mental load. Just me and the machine.

These aren’t luxuries. These are the habits that allow me to show up — in my business, in my relationships, in my body — without running on empty.

Better brain. Less pain. More capacity to build something I’m proud of.
