In April 1997, at just 22 years old, I qualified with the Institute of Podiatrists — and I’ve now officially passed my 29th year in the profession.
Looking back, I honestly never could have imagined where this journey would take me.
Over the last 29 years, I’ve not only worked hard to build and develop my clinic, but I’ve also continued to grow professionally every step of the way. One of my proudest achievements has been qualifying as a tutor for the Institute of Podiatrists, helping to support and inspire the next generation of Foot Health Practitioners entering our profession.
I’m also now entering my fifth year as President of the Institute of Podiatrists — a role I never thought I would one day achieve when I first qualified all those years ago. Representing our members and supporting the profession is something I feel incredibly honoured and proud to do.
This career has given me so much, but it’s also taken dedication, resilience, continual learning, and a genuine passion for helping people. I truly believe we should never stop developing, learning, and pushing ourselves forward.
But none of this would have been possible without the incredible team around me. To all the wonderful ladies I work alongside in the clinic, and to all of our amazing clients who have supported us over the years — thank you. You have all been such a huge part of this journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for every bit of support, loyalty, encouragement, and trust along the way.
And the most exciting part is that I still feel as motivated and inspired as ever. I’m so excited for the next chapter as we continue expanding the clinic with two additional treatment rooms upstairs.
Very proud of how far the journey has come… and very excited for what’s still ahead ✨
