Today we say a very fond farewell to our Marketing Lead, Leja Sleiniute 💙

Lėja joined us in May 2023 and, over the past three years, has made a remarkable contribution to Caremark Hull & East Riding and our developing territories of Caremark North Lincolnshire, Caremark York and Selby.

At the 2024 Caremark Ltd conference, Lėja helped us achieve the Marketing Excellence Award and this reflected her creativity, commitment and energy that she put into everything she did. From benevolent charity involvement with Age UK Hull & East Yorkshire to organising customer parties, there was always a sprinkle of Lėja magic 🪄 with everything she did!

Today, Lėja is spreading her wings and heading on to her next adventure and while we’re incredibly proud of her, we’re going to miss her very much! 🥹

Thank you for everything, Lėja. We wish you every success for the future. 💙

💙 A few lovely words for our amazing care assistants…

Our wonderful care assistants, Ricky, Naomi, Stacey and Megan received some beautiful cards and messages from one of our customers recently and we wanted to share them.

💌 Thank you so, so much for all the help and encouragement you gave me. You are both the best in person and profession. I am a better person for having you as my carers. I couldn’t have done it without you.

These words mean so much to our care assistants and are a lovely reminder of the difference they make every single day.💙

☕️🍰 A lovely afternoon at the Alzheimer's Society Goole Group 💙

🩷Today, our Senior Field Care Supervisor, Stacey and Marketing Lead, Leja, popped along to the Alzheimer’s Society group in Goole to find out a little more about what they offer and the support they provide within the local community. 🩷

It was such a lovely, welcoming group with plenty of puzzles, games, tea, coffee, cake and biscuits, of course! ☕️🍪

We know that some of our lovely customers may enjoy coming along to a group like this, whether it’s for a friendly chat, to meet others or simply to get out and about and enjoy some company.

We enjoyed our visit very much and it was lovely to be part of the group, meet everyone and see what a warm and welcoming space it is. 💙

We’re looking for a Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join our team at Caremark Hull & East Riding.

This isn’t just about posting on social media. You’ll have the opportunity to help tell the stories of our Care Assistants, connect with people in our local communities, support events and partnerships, and show the difference good care can make.

You’ll be involved in:
📱 Social media and content creation
📍 Local marketing across our communities
🤝 Events, partnerships and community engagement
📰 PR and helping to share our work

The role is based in Hessle (HU13), with one day a week spent out in the community, covering Hull, East Riding, Selby, York and North Lincolnshire.

What you’ll need:
• Marketing or PR experience
• A creative and organised approach
• Confidence working with people and communities
• Access to a vehicle
