✨ Support children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs
✨ Deliver engaging farm-based and nature-led activities
✨ Work alongside a friendly, supportive team
✨ £14–£17 per hour (depending on experience)
✨ Minimum of 10 hours per week during school holidays (this could very likely increase)

📢 Important Farm Update 📢

A rare and unsettling event has occurred at Apple Tree Farm…

Our core admin team have abandoned ship at the same time and headed off for a well-earned long weekend of adventuring. 😱

The remaining team members were understandably struggling with the emotional impact of this unprecedented separation, so emergency measures were swiftly implemented. As you can see, life-sized (well… chair-sized) replacements have been installed around the office to provide comfort, reassurance, and the illusion that someone is still answering emails. 🪑❤️

Fear not! The out-of-office replies are activated, the farm is still running as normal, and the rest of the team are being supported through this difficult period with regular coffee breaks and emotional support from the animals.

Normal levels of admin chaos will resume on Tuesday 9th June.

Until then, please be kind to our stand-ins — they’re doing their best. 😂

We are running a small HAF group session for SECONDARY aged children on Tuesday 28th July from 9.30-12.30pm (Sorry about the early start teens!)

Sessions are FULLY FUNDED for eligible families. We are a specialist SEND provider so please only apply if your child has additional needs.

It would appear individuals are at it again, using our name to advertise cows for sale in an attempt to scam people. The powers that be have been informed once again but please remain vigilant when engaging online sellers and check your sources. We rarely advertise animals for sale anywhere but through our own website and social media channels. And most significantly, we do not even own cows! 🤷🏽‍♀️

**HOME ED AT THE FARM GROUP with Noah**

We've recently started a brand new Home Ed at the Farm group on Monday mornings. The dates for the next block have been released. These sessions are block bookings each half term.

The ducks bedtime routine is as reliable as the weather at the moment. Some nights they’re holding a rage parade around the farm house, threatening a duck coup and demanding immediate access to their quarters. Other nights they will have us running around the farm shouting ‘come on then, bed time!’ like we are wildlife sopranos, opening gates to free them from fields they willingly entered and seemingly can’t get out of. It’s like a guessing game, you never know if you will feel threatened by them or have to threaten them. Such fun! 🦆🦆🦆

*Norton is packing his bags and off to his new home on Saturday! 🥳*

It is very rare that we do this but we need to find a loving abode for Norton the rabbit. Lop x large German breed (continental). Does not get on with our other male, and he is entire. If with females he will breed! 😝 Lovely independent nature, super friendly and cuddly!

We are so excited to have been able to finally share our big news yesterday, and what a response we have had. Our project will be made possible thanks to players, and you will be able to read more about Roots to Resilience in the report by the North Devon Gazette and soon on our website.

Please be patient with our team as we work our way through your messages and get back to you. We are working on developing and delivering several simultaneous projects on the farm, so responses might be a bit slower than usual.
