🐾 Igloo Mon Amour’s Legacy Fundraiser for Mektub Rescue 🐾

Many of my lovely clients met Igloo after he came to us from Morocco through Mektub Rescue.

Without them, we would never have had the privilege of sharing 4½ wonderful years with him. ❤️

To honour Igloo’s memory, I’ve set up a fundraiser to help support the amazing work Mektub does rescuing, feeding and caring for dogs who have nobody else.

Our newest rescue, Echo, is currently waiting at Mektub for his journey to the UK, making this cause even more special to us.

If you’d like to donate, no matter how small the amount, it would mean so much. Every penny will go directly to helping the dogs.

When a client tells you they have a severe nut allergy… 🥜😳

Me: “Of course, thank you for letting me know.”

Also me for the next 2 hours:

🔍 Checking brow tint ingredients
🔍 Checking developer ingredients
🔍 Checking wax ingredients
🔍 Checking cleanser ingredients
🔍 Checking facial products on display
🔍 Wondering if the brow mapping string was manufactured within 50 miles of a peanut factory

By the end of it, I was checking whether the salon had ever been visited by anyone who’d eaten a peanut in the last 4 years 🤪

In all seriousness though, I would always rather spend time checking and asking questions than risk a client feeling unsafe or unheard.

Your health, comfort and wellbeing are important to me, whether you’re visiting for a brow wax, facial, massage or MLD treatment.

The good news?

✅ Therapist slightly unhinged but trying her best

Just a little note to say I’m off on holiday from Tuesday ✈️ and will be back in the salon on Friday 15th May.
