It’s about being disciplined when it’s time to work... and enjoying life when it’s time to switch off.

Train hard through the week. Relax responsibly on the weekend. That’s what makes results sustainable.

Most of us are juggling stressful jobs, long days, school runs, deadlines, and raising kids on top of it all. Life already demands enough from us - your fitness routine shouldn’t feel like another punishment.

You don’t need to be “perfect” to make progress.
You need balance. Consistency. A plan you can actually stick to while still living your life. 😊

So yes... “we’ll have a look, course we’ll have a look!!” at that dessert menu 🤤

Most beginners don’t need more exercises — they need more confidence.

Fixed weight machines are one of the best ways to learn movement patterns, build control, and feel the target muscle working before moving onto free weights.

And that applies to any exercise — not just chest movements.

Once you build confidence on machines, transitioning into free weights feels far less intimidating. 💪

There’s nothing wrong with starting simple — everyone starts somewhere.

Build confidence first. Progress second. 📈

Neglected my Overhead Press for a while… and it shows 😰

Spent too much time chasing width with lateral raises instead of building pressing strength. Now my front delts are playing catch-up.

Back to basics:
• Overhead Press
• Progressive overload
• Controlled reps
• Strong lockouts

Also forgot how horrible OHP feels 🥴

Isolation builds detail. Compound lifts build the foundation. 🧱

Even I sometimes get it wrong and need to fix it, let me help fix where your going wrong 📲📈

Forever since I have barbell shoulder pressed too but need to target the front delts more so needs must 📈

Not long until you’re getting dragged into the pool steaming by the wee activity rep to play water polo 🤽🏼‍♂️

And instead of thinking “how did I end up in here?” while fighting for your life after 2 minutes…

you’re actually enjoying yourself because you started looking after yourself before the holiday crept up and feel confident 💪

And before anyone says it — this isn’t about shaming people who aren’t in shape or telling everyone they need a six pack to enjoy a holiday.

If you genuinely don’t care, fair enough. I applaud that and wish I was a bit like you 😅

But a lot of people do care deep down.

If your one of the ones that do care then don’t leave it too late and end up spending the holiday hiding in photos, covering up in the heat, or feeling uncomfortable in your own skin.

That’s the part you can still change.

That’s the thing most people realise too late — you don’t need a last-minute “summer shred”.

You just need to start now while there’s still time to feel better by the time your holiday comes around.

Because confidence on holiday hits different when you’re not dodging photos, covering up in the heat, or avoiding the pool.

A few weeks of consistency can make a massive difference. 📲 📥

Top class progress from the male TF8 challenge / strength and conditioning group workouts. Superb work from every one of the boys with everyone making terrific progress and achieving great results! Body fat dropped, fitness levels up, strength improved and confidence increased. We continue the work and don’t stop here. First objective was to get them up and going, next objective is to simply keep them going not falling back into past habits! Let’s go 🫡 👏🏻
