Good aesthetic medicine starts with knowing when not to treat - read below ⬇️
Not every consultation ends with treatment, and that’s exactly how it should be.
There are times when we may advise against treatment, including:
• When expectations aren’t achievable
• Concerns that would be better addressed with a different approach
• Medical factors that require further assessment
• Requests that would compromise natural, balanced results
• Situations where treatment simply isn’t necessary
We know “doctor-led” is a phrase you hear from both of us, but it’s because it underpins everything we do. It means putting patient interests before procedures, safety before trends, and honest clinical advice before commercial decisions.
Not everyone will leave a consultation with the answer they were hoping for, and that’s okay. Our responsibility isn’t to tell patients what they want to hear. It’s to tell them what we genuinely believe is safest and most appropriate for them.
Sometimes that means recommending treatment. Sometimes it means advising against it.
Either way, our approach remains the same: patient first, always.
