They might not be sure what to do, or how to play.
But with time… things begin to change.
One day, they run in with a smile.
They talk about their sessions like they’re going on holiday.
Small changes don’t happen overnight—but they do happen.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, the theme is Action. 💛 At Cambridge Acorn Project, we know meaningful change takes time. That’s why we provide long-term support for children and families facing trauma, hardship and instability - building trusted relationships that help children feel safe, heal and flourish.

A huge thank you to the brilliant team from for spending the morning helping to sort out our garden 🌿

From lots of weeding and pruning to some much‑needed planting, their support has made such a difference — especially as we prepare to open our garden next month for Histon and Impington Open Gardens.

We are so grateful for the time, energy and care they gave, and we honestly can’t thank them enough. Saffery are such wonderful corporate partners and are incredibly engaged in what we do as a charity. We feel very lucky to have their continued support 💚
