When your body changes before your mind does
The scales may have changed.
Your clothes may fit differently.
Other people may be noticing your progress.
But inside, you may still feel exactly as you did before.
Sometimes physical change happens more quickly than our internal picture of ourselves can adjust. Old self-criticism, body-image worries, fear of regaining weight or discomfort with being noticed do not always disappear simply because the body has changed.
That does not mean you are failing—or that your progress is not real.
It may mean that your mind needs time, understanding and the right kind of support to catch up.
Psychological support has a different role from medical treatment. It does not replace your prescriber, medical monitoring or nutritional care. It can give you a safe place to explore the thoughts, emotions and personal experiences that may still be shaping how you see yourself.
You do not have to perform confidence for anybody else.
You are allowed to adjust in your own time—and to find your way towards feeling more at home within yourself.

Helping you find your way HOME to yourself.
