MAC Whirl. Every single time.

If you ever catch me wearing lip liner, chances are it’s Whirl. On its own, with gloss, with lipstick.

Does 👏 not 👏 matter 👏

It somehow works with everything.

For my light to medium skin tone girlies, it’s that perfect your lips but better shade. If you like a little overline, it gives you half a chance of getting away with it too 👀

I genuinely use mine until it’s hanging on for dear life. If you saw the tiny little pencil stubs in my makeup bag, you’d understand.

I’ve tried countless others over the years, but this is the one I keep repurchasing.

If I had a pound for every time I said “beautiful”, “stunning” or “gorgeous” on a wedding morning, I’d probably be retired by now.

Fluffing dresses, fastening shoes, calming the nerves, making everyone laugh and somehow ending up emotionally attached to people I’ve only known since 7am.

Still can’t get over the personalised glass though 🥹

So how did we get here?

A questionnaire, a pinterest board and a good old chat.

Liv knew exactly how she wanted to feel, she just didn’t necessarily have the makeup artist words for it (she also didn’t need them - part of being a makeup artist is being a mind reader also 🔮)

The brief was sun-kissed. Sat on a balcony somewhere warm with a glass of something cold in hand. This is the first bit of glam being applied after a beach day before that 7pm dinner reservation.

Fresh, glowy & snatched but still recognisably Liv.
