Top 2 Toe Hair & Beauty I am a freelance hairdresser and beauty therapist working from my home in Horncastle. I achieved a City & Guild level 2 & 3 qualification for that.

I opened Top 2 Toe in 1998, after working at a local salon in Horncastle for a couple of years, although I had been practicing my beauty from home before then. I started in one room but as business grew I converted another room into a separate beauty salon. I started out by doing an evening class in cosmetic make up at Boston College where I gained a City & Guild distinction and got student of the

year. I enjoyed the course so much that I decided to give up my job working as a seamstress in a curtain factory to go to Lincoln College to study beauty therapy full time. After finishing the beauty it was a natural progression for me to go on to do hairdressing at Boston College, where I got City & Guild NVQ level 2. I have continued training since leaving college, learning spray tanning, Hopi Ear Candling, various cutting and colouring techniques, to name a few. I also have a couple of courses lined up for next year (2015).
