🖤 A LITTLE INTRODUCTION FROM US… 🖤
We’ve noticed lots of lovely new faces following us recently, so we thought we’d take a minute to introduce ourselves!
For those who don’t know us, we’re Kerry & Karl, the husband-and-wife team behind Exploding Ink.
karl has been tattooing for over 20 years, and I’ve been piercing for over 14 years.
Back in 2012, we established Exploding Ink together, and what started as a little venture has grown into the studio we’re incredibly proud of today.
Over the years, we’ve put a lot of hard work, love and determination into building our business. We’ve met some amazing people, made lifelong friendships and had the pleasure of welcoming thousands of you through our doors.
Karl is our tattoo artist, and I’m your body piercer and laser removal specialist. You’ll also find me behind the counter and replying to all your lovely messages!
You’ll also find Simone, who joined us as an apprentice back in 2023 and has since become a fully qualified tattoo artist, working her magic in the studio alongside us. 🖤
From day one, we’ve always wanted to create more than just a tattoo and piercing studio. Somewhere you can walk through the door, feel comfortable, have a laugh and always be greeted with a friendly face. Whether you’re visiting for a tattoo, a piercing or simply popping in for a chat, we want you to feel right at home.
It’s certainly been a journey, and we’re genuinely proud of everything we’ve achieved together.
To everyone who’s supported us over the years, thank you. Whether you’ve been with us since day one or you’ve only just discovered our little corner of Horncastle, we appreciate every single one of you.
