This Anaphylaxis Awareness Week, we’re highlighting why recognising a severe allergic reaction and knowing how to respond are vital skills for anyone working with children.
For schools and education settings, that knowledge needs to extend beyond designated first aiders. Teachers, teaching assistants, nursery teams and volunteers all have a role in helping children stay safe.
