At Pathway Healthcare, every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life.

We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand new 4-bed children's residential service in Southampton, supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that can challenge. You'll be backed by an in-house Positive Behavioural Support team, helping you build a genuinely therapeutic, child-centred home.

If you hold a Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Children's Residential Care (or equivalent), have current Registered Manager experience with a track record of 'good' at inspection, and at least 2 years' experience in both children's residential care and learning disability settings, we'd love to hear from you.

📍 Southampton
💰 £48,000 to £55,000 per year, plus a £250 joining bonus

💙 Love is rarely written into a care plan. Perhaps it should be.

At Pathway Healthcare, in our children's services, we measure a great deal. Outcomes, plans, reviews, progress. Yet the things that often matter most can be the hardest to record.

It takes teams who know each young person well, show up consistently and are properly supported themselves. It is thoughtful, committed work, and it can be life-changing.

Across our children's services, we put people at the centre of what we do, creating environments where young people feel valued, supported and able to be themselves. Great care is about helping young people feel safe, confident and able to make the most of life. 💙

💙 Some days just have a different energy about them.

Last week, one of our tenants spent the whole day out and about, and he made every minute count: a morning walk, a gym session, lunch out, and another walk to finish the day, much of it spent outdoors in the beautiful countryside.

He's a naturally active person, and outings like this are part of his regular routine, whether it's a walk along the river, a trip to the gym, a train ride, or getting involved in activities out in the community. Our team is there to support him every step of the way.

Fresh air, movement and time spent in nature all play a real part in his wellbeing, and longer, more active days like this help him feel settled, happy and fulfilled. It's proof that the right kind of support isn't just about care, it's about quality of life.

This is what person-centred care looks like in action at Pathway Healthcare.

☀️ There's nothing quite like a good old-fashioned BBQ to bring people together.

At one of our homes, the team put on a summer BBQ, complete with sunshine, garden games and plenty of laughs. It's the kind of afternoon that reminds you what community really feels like: good food, good company, and everyone making the most of the sunshine together.

It's such a lovely part of life at Pathway Healthcare, simple, joyful, and full of connection.

💙 Fresh air, good company and a view worth the walk.

One of our tenants headed out for a late-afternoon walk with his Support Worker, taking in the open countryside and making the most of the summer weather.

Time outdoors, staying active and having a change of scenery can make a real difference to how someone feels. Being active and spending time in nature can support wellbeing, lift mood and create a sense of freedom and space.

This is what person-centred care looks like: not just meeting needs, but creating opportunities for people to enjoy the things that matter to them.

💙 Good care is built on relationships, and those relationships don't end when a role changes.

Last week, one of our Team Leaders visited someone he had previously supported before moving into his current role. They caught up over a cup of tea, picking up right where they left off.

It says a lot about the kind of team we're building at Pathway Healthcare: people who genuinely care about the people they support and value the relationships they build along the way.

For us, it's about more than a job title or a shift. It's about people, connection and making a difference that lasts.

🐾💛 Meet the newest (and cutest) addition to the Pathway Healthcare family.

Say hello to Blu. She belongs to one of our wonderful Home Managers and, over the past few months, has become such a regular and much-loved presence at one of our homes. 🐾

Blu trots in a few times a week, bringing plenty of smiles along the way. For the people we support, Blu brings a real sense of joy, connection and companionship. Her visits brighten their days; she encourages interaction and creates moments of comfort and excitement.

It's wonderful to see how much happiness one little four-legged friend can bring to our homes. 💙 🐾
