“Everyone looks so PRETTY?”
We hear this all the time when we show our retreat photos.

And I agree! There is a specific type of softness in every woman’s face…

BUT WHY? Let me explain the SCIENCE of the retreat glow up effect….

How do we do this?
FOR 5 DAYS, WE SEE EVERY WOMAN WITH OUR HEART!

I know this sounds abstract… but what happens when you see someone with your heart rather than with your mind? When you see the parts in them that don’t feel lovable with unwavering love?

PEOPLE MELT.

People melt their defenses. People melt the protection that hardened them somewhere along the way. And what remains is utter beauty. And every time this beauty makes me tear up, in fact, I’m tearing up right now because THIS is our natural state.

Every human is meant to glow like this, to radiate beauty.

This beauty is ALIVENESS.

And so many times I’ve heard women say, when they see the photos of our retreat, “oh, wow. I don’t know if this is the right place. Everyone seems so, um, you know, confident with themselves. I don’t feel like that.”

I even had someone say “everyone looks like topmodels - that’s not me”

And it’s so hard to explain to them that this is what happens when you shed the beliefs that make you small, like somehow you’re never good enough, somehow your body is never how it’s supposed to look.

When all this hardness melts away - what remains is the beauty that every woman holds.

And I wish for you to know how it feels to look in the mirror and see nothing but radiance, aliveness, softness, and to feel yourself tearing up when you see that beauty.

We’re Laura & Chloe and we’re holding our favourite slumber party meets ta***ic summer camp in Sweden in July.

We’re looking for a collaboration with a creatrix of botanical products for feminine wellness like body oils, (maybe even p***y oils? 💦🌺).

That’s actually closer to our retreat than you’d think.

When we drop competition, celebrate each other’s uniqueness and let go of body shame and emotional inhibitions - something freaking magical happens.

The beauty industry does not just receive billions; it generates hundreds of billions of dollars annually —while systematically ensuring that we grow up to comparing, judging and rejecting our bodies.

Last night I asked Patrick for an int✨mate mass•age.

And even though we’ve been doing this work for years - it is still a vulnerable ask. There are parts of me that don’t really believe I’m worthy of receiving that much attention. Of asking for that much of my partner’s time, just for me to receive.

So when he mentioned at dinner that he was tired - something in me just dropped.
And instead of staying soft, I went hard. „So you’re not doing it then, or what?“ - rough tone, defensive mode activated.

He laughed about my attack. Which completely sent me. Because underneath the anger was shame. Like... why would he follow through if I don’t deserve this anyway?

I wanted to storm out.
Instead… (thank you Patrick…) he came to me and started naming what was happening. „I see this was really important to you. I didn’t realise how important it was.“

And something in me softened.
I felt very small. But I said it anyway.
„I find it still really hard to ask for my desires. And when I felt like you didn’t want to do it, I felt really upset. And when you laughed, I got really angry.“

There is a part of me who freaking lives for the moment when truth hits. When under all the protections and defenses, something real comes into the light. It feels like the energy after the rain.

From this place, of course I can take his „not today“ without burning down the house 😅

However… when I got to the bedroom after washing the tears off - he’d already lit the candles.

And when he took my hands and said „I’m here to show you how much I love you“ - I had another release of deep grief. Because now I actually had to let the love in.

And that is almost harder than asking.
