🧠 When your thoughts feel all scrambled…

Sometimes our thoughts and feelings can become tangled and confused. Before we know it, everything feels overwhelming, and anxiety can start to take over.

You don’t always need months of therapy to make a difference. Sometimes, one conversation is all you need to pause, breathe, and make sense of what’s going on in your head.

Talking to a therapist gives you a safe, non-judgemental space to say the things you might not feel able to say anywhere else. Together, we can begin to unscramble those thoughts, make sense of your feelings and help you feel calmer, clearer and more collected. 💛

✨ Sometimes, you just need to talk it through.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious or simply a little lost, why not come and have a chat with me?

One-off therapy sessions are available — no pressure, no judgement, just a safe space to talk.

You might be surprised how much lighter you feel after saying it out loud. 🌿

Why I Became a Therapist ❤️

There’s a very personal reason behind the work I do.

When you lose a family friend to su***de, you never really forget it. It changes you. It stays with you, and for me, it created a deep desire to understand mental health, emotional wellbeing and, most importantly, how I can support people when life feels overwhelming.

I completed a Diploma in Behavioural Psychology and continued my journey into a 4 year counselling and therapy diploma because I wanted to be someone who could sit alongside another person during those difficult moments, without trying to fix them, but simply being there, listening and walking with them.

Today, I’m a therapist with a deep passion for mental wellness, couples and relationship therapy as well as a Menopause Wellness Coach.

I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood and supported through every stage of life. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, confidence, relationships, life changes or the emotional impact of menopause, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

If, through my work, I can help even one person feel a little safer, a little stronger, or find hope when they’re struggling to see it, then I know I’m doing something worthwhile.

I’ll walk beside you one step at a time. ❤️

Some days, life feels heavier than you ever imagined. You may be carrying grief, anxiety, relationship struggles, stress, or simply feeling lost and wondering if anyone truly understands.

The truth is, you don’t have to face it all alone.

Therapy offers a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly, feel heard without judgement, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing.
It won’t erase life’s challenges, but it can give you the tools, confidence, and support to navigate them with greater strength and resilience.

Reaching out for help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s one of the bravest and most powerful steps you can take towards healing and growth.

If you’ve been thinking about therapy, perhaps this is your reminder that you deserve support too. Your wellbeing matters, and it’s never too late to invest in yourself. ❤️

📩 If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.

Losing someone you love changes everything. Grief isn’t something you “get over”—it’s something you learn to carry, and everyone’s journey is different.

You may experience sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, or even relief. Whatever you’re feeling, it’s valid. There is no right or wrong way to grieve.

Talking to a therapist can provide a safe, non-judgemental space to express your thoughts and emotions without feeling like you’re burdening others. Therapy can help you:
💙 Process difficult emotions at your own pace.
💙 Make sense of complex feelings such as guilt, anger, or regret.
💙 Develop healthy coping strategies for everyday life.
💙 Feel less isolated and more understood.
💙 Find ways to honour your loved one while moving forward with hope.

You don’t have to face grief alone. Reaching out for support isn’t a sign of weakness—it’s an act of courage and self-care.

If you’re struggling after a loss, remember that talking can help. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting; it means finding a way to live alongside your loss with compassion for yourself.

Stress is a normal part of life, but when it is intense, frequent, or long-lasting, it can have a significant impact on mental health. The effects vary from person to person, depending on factors such as genetics, life experiences, coping skills, and available support.

How stress affects mental health

Chronic stress can influence the brain, body, emotions, and behavior. Some common effects include:

* Anxiety: Ongoing stress can lead to excessive worry, restlessness, difficulty concentrating, and physical symptoms like a racing heart or muscle tension.
* Depression: Persistent stress may contribute to feelings of sadness, hopelessness, loss of motivation, and reduced enjoyment in activities.
* Sleep problems: Stress can make it difficult to fall asleep or stay asleep, and poor sleep can further worsen stress and mood.
* Difficulty concentrating: High stress levels can impair attention, memory, and decision-making.
* Irritability and emotional reactivity: People under chronic stress may become more easily frustrated or overwhelmed.
* Physical symptoms: Headaches, digestive issues, fatigue, muscle pain, and changes in appetite often accompany prolonged stress.

Over time, unmanaged stress can also increase the risk of developing or worsening mental health conditions in people who are vulnerable.

How therapy can help

Therapy provides a structured, supportive environment to understand stress and develop healthier ways of coping. Different approaches may be helpful depending on a person’s needs.

Some benefits include:

* Identifying stressors: A therapist can help you recognize the sources of stress and distinguish between what you can and cannot control.
* Building coping skills: You’ll learn practical techniques such as problem-solving, relaxation exercises, time management, and healthy communication.
* Changing unhelpful thought patterns: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), for example, helps identify and challenge thoughts that increase stress and anxiety.
* Improving emotional regulation: Therapy can teach skills to manage difficult emotions without becoming overwhelmed.
* Processing difficult experiences: If stress is related to trauma, grief, or major life changes, therapy provides a safe space to work through those experiences.
* Strengthening relationships: Many stressors involve family, work, or social situations. Therapy can improve communication and boundary-setting.
* Preventing future problems: Learning effective coping strategies can reduce the likelihood that stress will develop into more serious mental health difficulties.

People-pleasing often starts as a strength. It can look like kindness, reliability, empathy, and a willingness to help. The cost comes when those qualities consistently override your own needs, values, or limits.

Some common costs include:

* Feeling exhausted because you rarely protect your time or energy.
* Resentment toward people you agreed to help, even though they didn’t force you.
* Anxiety about disappointing others or being seen as selfish.
* Losing touch with what you actually want because you’re focused on what everyone else needs.
* Saying “yes” to avoid discomfort now, only to experience more stress later.

If you’re feeling like this, come and talk to me. As a therapist I work by going beyond teaching you to say “no.” I help you understand why saying no feels so difficult in the first place and give you a chance to practice new ways of relating to yourself and others. 🩷

Therapy can help rebuild confidence and self-esteem, especially when those things have been damaged by experiences such as criticism, bullying, rejection, controlling relationships, emotional abuse, trauma, repeated failures, or environments where your needs and strengths were dismissed.

My role as a therapist is to help clients understand and challenge the beliefs and experiences that have affected their self-esteem, support them in recognising their strengths and value, and empower them to develop greater confidence, self-acceptance, and self-trust.
If lack of confidence and self worth is something you are struggling with, please drop me a message and we can talk.

Talking to friends and family can be incredibly helpful, but their advice is often shaped by their own experiences and how they would handle a situation.

Therapy offers something different.

As a therapist I don’t tell you what you should do. I am here to help you understand your thoughts, feelings, and challenges more clearly, without judgment or personal bias. I provide a safe space to explore what’s going on and help you find solutions that are right for you.

Because while others can offer support, only you truly know what it’s like to be you. Sometimes having the right guidance can help you understand yourself better and move forward with greater confidence. 💙
