Doubting yourself again? Have you ever thought about doubting the doubt?
Doubt it...😜
The doubt you experience when you think about not being good enough, confident enough, or clever enough is rooted in subconscious patterns.
This means at some point in life, you've had an experience or you've imagined that you are not good enough. Then your brain has got used to that thought and played it on loop until you believe it to be true. It has become the story of your life.
But what if we challenge that? What if we consciously choose a different story?
This is what we can do in solution focused hypnotherapy. We can work with the brain to build new pathways. Not pathways from the past, but pathways for now and for your future.
If you are thinking I've tried to change my thoughts but I can't. To be able to change, your brain and nervous system need safety. This is where the relaxation comes in. Otherwise it is like rehearsing positive thoughts whilst standing in front of a polar bear 🐻❄.
