The staff at the Centre are doing a sponsored walk on Sunday 27th September to raise money for our amenity fund to go towards the customers Christmas Celebrations. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to share the post as well☺️

Today a few of the customers went for tea with the ponies. As you can see a lovely time was had by all, with the tea, coffee and cake flowing well. They got to meet Freddie the Shetland pony and they got to see Stan in the distance during a lesson.

Friday we had our yearly BBQ 🍔🌭and what a great day it was!
We had Nikki singing for us 🎶💃🏼
We had our customers families and The Phoenix centre who joined us and our local councillors came in to see what we do here 🥰
We were also lucky enough to be supported once again by the Hungerford in Bloom team 💛

🎉 Join us at Hungerford Carnival this Saturday! 🎉
Hungerford Day Centre is delighted to be taking part in this year’s Hungerford Carnival on Saturday, and we’d love to see you there!

As we celebrate an incredible 30 years of Hungerford Day Centre, we’ll be collecting donations to help fund our customers Christmas Celebrations, ensuring they can enjoy a festive week filled with fun, friendship and special memories.

A few months ago something amazing ⭐️ happened here at Hungerford Day centre.

We were very fortunate to have an unexpected visit from Nia and Jane who are from Hungerford Britain in Bloom. They asked if it would be possible for them to work their magic 💫 on our gardens.

As you can see from previous pictures the garden has been difficult to keep on top of, with time only for routine maintenance.

The transformation has been totally amazing, with volunteers here daily working their socks off, particularly Nia, Ali and Mark and with very little rain, their job has been made even harder.

We cannot put into words how grateful our customers and staff are for all their time and hard work and of course the donations of the plants 🌻 We still need to pinch ourselves to make sure it is not a dream 💖

We look forward to the results of the Hungerford Britain in Bloom judging in September.
