🖤🩷 Little reminder/lecture from us now the sun’s finally decided to show up

Please stop cooking yourselves.

A tan is nice. Looking like a packet of ready salted by tomorrow isn’t.

Quick skin rule reminder…

Wear SPF. Every day. Even when Scotland pretends it’s “not that sunny.”

Fresh tattoos and direct sun do not mix. Keep them covered.

Drink some water. Your iced coffee isn’t hydration.

If your shoulders are glowing red, you’ve ignored every warning sign available.

Moisturise after sun exposure because dry, crispy skin ages like milk.

We absolutely will not tattoo sunburnt skin. Ever. Not “slightly pink.” Not “it’ll be fine by tomorrow.” Burnt skin is damaged skin, and tattooing over it is a terrible idea.

Your skin is the largest organ you have, tattoos are expensive art.

Look after both. 🖤🩷

Hello! Long time no see!!

So…Life happened. Grief happened. Health happened. And somewhere along the way, The Ink Panther lost a little bit of its spark.

For the last couple of years, we’ve been doing our best to keep things ticking over while life did what life does best and completely ignored the schedule I’d set out for it!

But I’m back and FULLY present now!

Which means things are about to get very organised again. Poor Andy. It’s been like watching our Labrador look after a house plant!

He’s the bearded one with the tattoo machine by the way. I’m the not-so-bearded one with the mascara, the phone and the diary.

We’re giving The Ink Panther a bit of love again. A refresh. A reset. A warmer, calmer space that feels more like us.
(Heaven knows it could be done with being warmer 🥶)

Same tattoos. Same stories. Same gypes behind the scenes. Just a better chapter for our wee studio.

And if you’ve stuck around while we’ve been quiet, we thank you. Really. We appreciate it more than you know. Please continue to stick around whilst we have ourselves a wee glow up! I’ll treat you to a funcy piece to make up for it!

Now, let’s get you booked in!!
