Residents at Charnley House have enjoyed a lovely week of activities, including jigsaws, painting and games with giant playing cards. 🧩🎨🃏

It was great to see everyone getting involved, sharing a laugh and showing off their creative and competitive sides!

There’s been plenty going on recently at Charnley House, from music time and stained glass painting to cupcake decorating, Easter Bingo and enjoying the nicer weather. 🎶🎨🧁

It’s been a lovely week at the home, with a special visit for one of our residents from Maggie and Pearl the cat.

We’ve also been reminiscing about different types of biscuits recently, so this week our Home Manager brought in a few varieties that we don’t always have. Residents enjoyed a fun biscuit taste test featuring fig rolls, Garibaldis, fruit shorties, Hobnobs, shorties and malted milks.

There were plenty of opinions shared, lots of memories brought back, and of course some clear favourites chosen along the way!

It’s been another fun-filled time at Charnley House, with our residents enjoying a lovely mix of creative, social and tasty activities.

From Mother’s Day colouring and a relaxing film afternoon to friendly games of skittles and giant dominos, there has been plenty to keep everyone smiling. One of the highlights was definitely our baking afternoon, where we made some delicious vanilla slices together.

Residents at Charnley House have been enjoying some lovely activities recently, including making cheesecake, playing Giant Connect 4 and Jenga, plus a relaxing visit from the hairdresser.

Happy Valentine’s Day from Charnley House 💗🎶

Our residents have been keeping busy with jigsaws, wordsearches, Valentine’s colouring for cards & a lounge display, plus plenty of tasty treats! Baking a cake, making chocolate cupcakes for National Chocolate Cake Day, and even homemade pizza for National Pizza Day 🍰🧁🍕

We also enjoyed welcoming some new residents into our Charnley House family.
