This week we lost a very special lady, our Mabe,

It has been an absolute pleasure and you will be greatly missed by everyone at Laurel Bank.

Our thoughts are with Mandy, Julie & their family at this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you so much for your kind words and support over the years — it means so much to the whole team to know that the care and support we gave to Mabel and you as a family was appreciated 🥹

It is with great sadness that Mum passed away on Sunday surrounded by her family.
We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Laurel bank care home for the care they gave Mum but also for looking after us all for the last week

It’s been a busy and joyful few weeks here at Laurel Bank in Spring 💙
From celebrating Mother’s Day with live music and decorations around the home, to our Easter party, raffle, and St Patrick’s Day celebrations with residents and families together, there’s been lots of laughter and special moments shared.
We’re also proud to celebrate Natalie and Kelly on their promotions to Senior Carers — both incredibly deserving members of the team.
And with spring arriving, our new seasonal menus are now being introduced too 🌷

Following feedback and conversations with our residents, Betty’s Tea Room is being transformed into our very own onsite pub — The Laurel Bank Arms 🍻
Creating spaces that feel familiar, welcoming, and full of personality is such an important part of life at Laurel Bank. We can’t wait to share more as it takes shape.
