⭐️Website Launch Friday 5th June SNEAK PREVIEW⭐️

💫Wahooooo I have finally finished my new website!!! It’s only taken me 5 years to get this sorted 😂😂😂

💫When I first qualified I set up a website and said I’ll come back and update this when I get time….I never got the time! 😂

💫I set myself a goal to get sorted this year and started by booking in some photography with the fabulous . This then inspired me to get going.

💫I have more exciting things to add over the next few months including my new blog and some support for therapists! Watch this space! 🙌🏻

⭐️Weekly Round Up!⭐️

📲 A lovely week off and a social media break too!

🏃🏻‍♀️Had some lovely runs, although it’s been tough in this heat!! Can you see that wasp near my top!? 😱

🚗Had some lovely trips out, Cotswolds, more National Trust parks, Stratford, swimming, time with friends and family, horse riding, facial and shopping with my divas 🛍️

🧹Not going to lie, I did use some of the time to catch up on cleaning, sorting and just life admin! Feeling a lot more organised now!

👩🏻‍💻I did open up my practice for just one day and saw 7 clients back to back 😱 including 2 new initial consults! I am super full now with limited space available.
🥵My practice day happened to be the hottest day trying to keep my clients cool with ice and fans and then I stood in the thunderstorm as the pressure lifted🥳 (see before I started work and after I finished photos) 🤣

💻I have also finished my new website 💫 more to come on that soon!

💛Back to it tomorrow with a super busy week ahead

⭐️Weekly round up of what’s been good⭐️

Actually it’s a 2 week round up! I’ve had a busy few weeks so not had much time to post.

✨A successful couple of weeks in my practice with even more clients joining! I only have a few more regular slots left before I’ll have to start a wait list again!
✨I have also been squirrelling away at my website, I’m almost there 😮‍💨

✨Quite a few good runs in the bank too, all built up to a strong 10k today which I absolutely loved!!

✨Trying to eat a little better (minus that gorgeous English breakfast you can see 😆) and making sure I eat properly before and after runs now! 💪🏻

✨My sleep has been great too which is so so important, as my clients know!

✨A beautiful day in Bakewell, lots of sunny walks, 3 family birthdays, gorgeous breakfast at the Fig and Olive for my little sister’s birthday 🎁 some good horse riding for my girls 🐴 🩷and lots of chill time in the sun!

✨A busy few weeks ahead now leading up to half term where I will be taking another break! I only have 4 single slots left over the next 3 weeks!

✨If you’re looking for a supervisor, here’s how we can work together…

✨Supervision is so much more than discussing client sessions, it’s a space to pause, reflect, grow, and strengthen your confidence as a therapist.

✨Wherever you are in your journey, working together in supervision can help you to:
-Begin your supervision journey, even before seeing clients
-Strengthen your confidence and move through self-doubt
-Put clear boundaries, agreements, and structures in place
-Stay on track with professional and ethical expectations
-Talk through client work openly in a supportive environment
-Deepen your understanding of yourself and how you work
-Build and develop your practice in a way that feels aligned

✨Even when you’re unsure what you’d bring to a session, there is always value in having that dedicated time and space, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

✨With most associations you should be having MINIMUM 6 hours of supervision per year. This can be 1:1, group or a mix of both.

* I offer a monthly subscription where you get either a 30/40 minute 1:1 OR group session per month
* PAYG 1 hour 1:1 session and per group session.

⭐️Always a little bittersweet saying goodbye to a client - It genuinely makes me so happy to see someone get exactly where they wanted to be and knowing I got to play a small part in that journey is so special. Watching clients confidence grow, habits change, and their goals turn into reality… that’s why I do what I do 🙌🏻🥰

⭐️Great news - I am now officially qualified as a Clinical Supervisor!! 🥳⭐️

⭐️After months of hard work, assignment questions coming out of my ears and supervision time with some amazing therapists, I can now start practising!

⭐️I am so excited to get started with this and I am looking forward to supporting other therapists.

⭐️I will be starting off with 1:1 supervision for now and group supervision will follow. If you’re interested in either, get in touch 🥰 More details will follow about how you can work with me 🙌🏻

⭐️Lots of people have been asking me about burnout, how it starts, what happened to me, how to recover etc. I have lots to say on the subject but for now I will explain a few of the personal changes I’ve made to get better.

⭐️Slowing things down after burnout has been tough but I’ve also enjoyed the process as I am finding me again 🥰

⭐️Burnout is not a trophy, but neither does it mean you’re weak! It can creep up on you, building quietly through high performance, when everything feels manageable, saying yes feels easy and even rewarding! This reinforces the feeling of capability and without clear limits can lead to eventual exhaustion.

⭐️I have been making small, consistent changes that are supporting me to get well but also to build a new norm that has my wellbeing at the centre of it…..

✨ Making time for me. Sometimes it’s nothing big, just sitting in the garden with the sun on my face and a coffee listening to the birds is one of my favourite small things to do.
This has also included making adjustments to my diary and scheduling my week more intentionally so there’s space for breaks and time to reset.

✨Slowing down my to-do list - I have always been a list maker but I was in a bad habit of constantly adding to this, which can make you feel like you’re not achieving.

✨ Reminding myself that not everything is urgent.

✨ Creating a better morning routine, healthier choices, vitamins, energy-boosting foods and drinks to start the day.

✨ Moving my body in gentle ways rather than pushing it past it’s limits. This one has been hard but I am trying to listen to what my body is saying and slowly building up.

✨Listening to the people around me, the ones who notice when I’m doing too much, even when I don’t.

✨ Most importantly, listening to my body. It was giving me signals long before I was ready to hear them.

⭐️Recovery from burnout does not happen overnight and I’m still figuring it out. In fact when you start to feel really good again is often the risky part where you can easily slip back into old habits.

⭐️Here’s to continuing the process ✌🏻

⭐️Great week this week!⭐️

⭐️The best part of this week is that my energy levels have increased! It’s the first full week I’ve had where I’ve not crashed several times in between days of working 🥳

Business wins-
💫Lots of enquiries and 6 new clients joining me 🥰
💫Amazing success with clients
💫Photos from my photoshoot are back 🙌🏻
💫Lots of website planning
💫Fab supervision of my own

Personal wins-
💫I have increased my exercise slowly, enjoying some nice walks and cycling
💫I have also enjoyed time for myself, took myself off for a wander in a new place, enjoyed a meal out with friends and even survived a lengthy shopping trip 🙄😆
💫Ended with a lovely Mother’s Day being spoilt by my beautiful girls 🥰🩷🩷

All ready for a new week 🥰
