The Autumn leaves are starting to fall and can you feel a change in the air? The Autumn season is a time of transition, everything is about to change, the daylight hours, the temperatures, and the general feeling in the air. Following the full heat and energy of Summer, self-care is even more important to keep ourselves in good health.
Join me if you can for a half day seasonal yoga workshop to immerse yourself fully into the rhythm, spirit and mood of the Autumn season. A time of year to let go of the dead wood and make room for the new, the falling leaves are about to show us how beautiful it is to let things go. Change can be beautiful, if you embrace it with an open heart.
The workshop will be two hours of creative restoring yoga sequences, breathing practices, inspiring yoga philosophy, poetry, soulful music, Ayurvedic wisdom, meditation and deep relaxation. The workshop will help you to bring about a sense of balance energetically, it will encourage you to slow down, take time to rest and reflect, and inspire you to align yourself with the energy and spirit of Autumn, when everything begins to slowly turn inward. It is two hours of pure self-care and nourishment, it is extremely stilling and quietening.
I have decided to make the most of the bell tent, or Belle as I call her, and I am holding two outdoor Autumn Equinox Yoga Workshops on the 13th and 19th September, and if any of you prefer an indoor venue, I will be holding the same event at the usual location, the beautiful Village Hall at Stanton Under Bardon on the 4th October. The bell tent events will be from 2pm - 4pm and the Village Hall event will be 10am - Noon. The next two weekends are going to be sunny and warm, so I am so excited to be able to hold the Autumn Workshop outside for once, it will enable an even deeper connection with the energy of the Autumn season.
The address of the Village Hall, is Stanton Under Bardon Village Hall, St John Cole Crescent, LE67 9AE. The bell tent is located in woodland between Ashby and Moira, and once you have booked in, I will give the full details of where it is, but it is really easy to find.
The cost of the workshop is £32 and once you have made payment, your space will be reserved. There are 10 spaces within the bell tent and 30 spaces at the Village Hall. If you would like a space, please message me and I will give you details as to how to book in.
I hope that you will be able to join me for this memorable, soulful seasonal event. Some of my yogis have been coming to these workshops since I first started teaching them many years ago, it has become almost like a tradition that we share to mark the changing of the seasons and I absolutely love teaching these sessions.
