Gathering the Last Herbs of the Season.

As Samhain approaches, the garden begins to quiet and the earth turns inward.

There’s something wonderfully witchy about gathering the last herbs before winter — rosemary, sage, lavender, mint and whatever the earth still offers — then hanging them to dry, ready to carry their scent and magic through the darker months.

A time to slow down, give thanks for what the earth has provided, and honour the turning of the wheel.
