If the *glow* is actually oxidative stress in disguise — you need to protect your skin!

Let’s go through this…

In the warmer months, the skin tends to produce a little more oil.

Heat + UV together accelerate sebum oxidation; which leads to the early stages of congestion + low-grade inflammation.

The cause of sebum oxidation in the skin is the result of oxidative stress.

This happens when free radicals outweigh your skin’s natural antioxidant defences.

So, too much sun, heat, and pollution = more free radicals, which leads to concerns such as skin aging & dullness.

This is because when your skin can’t fight off free radicals, it starts to show— in fine lines, uneven tone, and dryness.

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a lovely weekend 🫶🏼

Just a little update from me!

I had an amazing response to my last reel, and you have been BUSY getting organised and booking ahead.

Thank you sooooo much for that. It’s a huge help for us both.

Outside of being busy in the clinic I’ve been absolutely going nuts with extra skincare training 🫧

Spoiler alert: SkinBetter Science, Obagi and Medik8. Exciiiiting! Keep your eyes peeled for more.

I’ve got some personal skincare plans to finish today and tomorrow. These are what I use as the initial foundation for making some key changes to your routine at home, and sometimes your in-clinic schedule too. They are super helpful, and I’m always happy to chat skincare if you need a helping hand.

We are also in the last couple of days of the March Pass It Forward campaign for your unused skincare products.
