✨ Juvelook around the eyes… and yes, that is a cannula! 👀

It might look a little scary, but a cannula is actually a blunt-ended needle, designed to glide gently through the tissues rather than cutting through them.

For me, the treatment was surprisingly comfortable — and the best bit? Absolutely no bruising afterwards. 🙌

Juvelook is one of my favourite regenerative treatments for the delicate eye area, helping to improve:
✨ Fine lines & crepey skin
✨ Skin quality and texture
✨ Collagen production
✨ That tired-looking under-eye area

The aim isn’t to add lots of volume or change the shape of the eye — it’s about gradually improving the quality of the skin and stimulating your own collagen.

And despite how dramatic that cannula looks… it was far easier than you might think! 😂

✨ RETINOL RULES ✨

🌙 Apply at night — retinol belongs in your evening routine
✔️ Start low & slow — 2–3 nights a week, then build up
✔️ Pea-sized amount — more is NOT more!
✔️ Apply to dry skin — damp skin can increase irritation
✔️ Moisturise well — before and/or after if you’re sensitive
✔️ Keep other actives simple while your skin adjusts
☀️ SPF EVERY morning — non-negotiable!
⏳ Be consistent — results come with time

Fine lines ✔️ Pigmentation ✔️ Texture ✔️ Collagen ✔️ Glow ✔️

One of my favourite ingredients for long-term skin health 🤍

Save this for your evening skincare routine!

☀️ Has your pigmentation got worse over the summer?

Before we think about clearing pigmentation, we need to help switch down the processes creating it in the first place.

My three skincare essentials for pigmentation are:

✨ Tyrosinase inhibitors – ingredients that help reduce melanin production and prevent new pigmentation forming.

✨ Retinoids – help increase cell turnover, improve uneven tone and gradually shift existing pigment.

✨ SPF, every single day – because UV exposure can stimulate pigmentation and undo all your hard work. And yes… that means SPF even when summer is over!

Once we’ve got pigment production under better control, we can then focus on clearing what’s already there with targeted skincare and, where appropriate, treatments such as microneedling or CO₂ laser.

Think of it as:
STOP the pigment → CLEAR the pigment → PREVENT it coming back. 🤍

Sculptra isn’t just for the face…

We already know how incredible Sculptra can be for facial rejuvenation — but now we’re taking that collagen-boosting magic beyond the face.

Introducing Sculptra Body.

Designed to stimulate your own collagen, Sculptra can be used on areas such as the buttocks, thighs, upper arms and décolletage to help improve the appearance of skin texture, firmness and smoothness.

Think collagen. Skin quality. Firmness. Confidence.

And the exciting part?
Your results develop gradually as your skin is encouraged to produce more of its own collagen.

Your face shouldn’t have to have all the fun…

☀️ Has summer left you with pigmentation that definitely wasn’t there before?

Autumn is the perfect time to start tackling sun damage — but pigmentation treatment isn’t simply about removing the brown spots we can see.

My approach is two-fold:

1️⃣ Switch down excess pigment production with targeted skincare, antioxidants, retinoids, pigment suppressors and daily SPF 50.
2️⃣ Clear the pigment and damage already there with carefully selected treatments such as chemical peels, IPL, microneedling and fractional CO₂ laser.

The key is getting the diagnosis right first. Sun damage, melasma and post-inflammatory pigmentation can look similar but need very different treatment approaches.

Control the pigment → clear the damage → protect the results. ✨

✨ My first 5 days of CO₂ laser recovery ✨

From redness and swelling ➡️ bronzing and peeling ➡️ that fresh new-skin glow… here’s the reality of my first five days after fractional CO₂ laser.

I chose a lower-energy treatment with manageable downtime, but even by day 5 I’m already seeing:
✨ Pigmentation lifting
✨ Smoother, brighter skin
✨ Fine lines around my mouth softening
✨ Crepey skin on my neck improving
✨ That amazing post-CO₂ glow

There are still some textural changes to settle, but these should continue to disappear over the next couple of weeks.

And the exciting bit? This isn’t the final result. Collagen remodelling continues over the following weeks and months, so the skin should keep improving long after the visible recovery is over.

Would I do it again? Absolutely. 🤍

✨ Day 5 CO₂ laser recovery ✨

And the glow has officially arrived! 🤩

My pigmentation has noticeably lifted, the crepey skin on my neck is already improving, and the lines around my mouth have softened significantly.

I’ve still got a few textural changes from the healing process, but these should gradually disappear over the next couple of weeks.

And the best bit? This isn’t the final result. The skin will continue to remodel and produce new collagen over the coming weeks and months, so improvements in texture, firmness and fine lines should keep developing.

Day 5 and I’m already VERY happy with that glow ✨

✨ Day 4 CO₂ laser recovery ✨

Starting to look like myself again! 🙌 After a low-energy CO₂ treatment, most of the bronzing has lifted and that fresh, glowing skin is coming through.

My skin barrier has healed really well, so I’m cautiously reintroducing actives, starting with vitamin C — while keeping hydration and SPF a priority.

And the glow… ✨ definitely worth the few alien-looking days! 😂

Day 3 of my CO₂ laser recovery ✨

And we’re starting to see the glow! 🙌

The redness has gone and those bronzed areas are beginning to lift, revealing baby-soft, fresh glowing skin underneath. ✨

Still keeping everything well hydrated and protected while the skin does its thing — and resisting the temptation to help any of that bronzing along! 👀

So far, I’m very impressed with how manageable the downtime has been. Now I’m excited to watch the results develop as the collagen remodelling continues over the coming weeks and months.

Follow for Day 4! 🤍

Summer holiday fun doesn’t stop for mummy’s CO₂ downtime! ☀️😂

Day 2 and we’re out and about — diligently covered in emollient, with some SPF added today and a very glamorous hat firmly in place. 👒

Do I look slightly like an alien? 👽 Absolutely.
Am I styling it out the best I can? Also absolutely.

Still no pain, swelling is settling and the bronzing has begun. Now to keep everything protected, hydrated and healing.

Because apparently children don’t accept “Mummy’s had a laser” as a reason to stay home. 😂
