For the longest time, I thought that restless feeling meant I needed to change EVERYTHING.

Maybe I needed to go back to work.

Maybe I needed more time away from my children.

Maybe I needed a completely different life to feel like myself again.

But when I actually pictured the life I wanted…

It looked suspiciously like the one I already had.

Slow mornings with my boys.

Being THERE for the ordinary days.

Cooking dinner.

Bedtime stories.

Not having to ask permission to be there when they need me.

I didn’t want to escape any of that.

I just wanted more choice inside it.

I wanted to be able to book the Pilates class.

Pay someone else to clean the house sometimes.

Take the boys out for lunch because we fancied it.

Buy something I needed without wondering whether I could justify spending the money on myself.

Have something that challenged me and made me feel capable and ambitious again.

And build financial resources for our future without sacrificing the life I was trying to build them in the first place.

I didn’t need a completely different life.

I needed more ownership over the one I already loved.

And I think that’s what so many of us are actually craving when we talk about ‘freedom’

Not yachts. Not retiring at 35. Not working from a beach with a laptop (although let’s not rule anything out 😂).

Just the ability to wake up on a completely ordinary Tuesday and have options.

More yeses.

Less asking permission.

Less checking the bank account first.

More room for motherhood AND the woman underneath it.

That’s my definition of rich now.

And it’s exactly what I’m building 🌿✨

The Tuesday Dream.

If my entire skincare shelf disappeared overnight, these are the first 5 products I’d buy back. No hesitation.

Not a 12 step skin routine, just the products that I genuinely think make the biggest difference to how my skin looks, feels and ages, while still being beautifully gentle and naturally derived 🌿

My rebuild-the-bathroom-shelf line-up:

Hydrating Cleanser — because good skin starts with cleansing properly WITHOUT stripping it. Soft, comfortable, clean skin every single time.

Pure Lagoon — my hydration insurance policy. Plump, juicy, bouncy skin and one I notice very quickly when I stop using. Balances skin microbiome, prevents blemishes and has helped my perioral dermatitis!

Fruit Smooth — the one I’d choose over a physical face scrub every. single. time. Gentle chemical exfoliation to tackle dullness, texture and congestion and make everything look smoother + brighter. If you wear makeup you won’t believe how your makeup sits and lasts after using this.

Youth Potion — because if I’m going to invest anywhere, it’s in the serum doing the heavy lifting for my ageing-skin goals. Firmness, fine lines, radiance — YES PLEASE.

Skin Feast — the moisturiser that seals the deal. Nourishing, comforting and leaves my skin looking ridiculously healthy and glowy.

Basically, if you’ve been looking at your bathroom shelf thinking “I have loads of skincare but I have absolutely no idea if any of it is actually doing anything”… I can help with that.

And you absolutely do not need all five.

Tell me what your skin is doing + what you’d most like to change, and I’ll tell you what I’d prioritise for your skin AND your budget 🌿

🚨 I’M PLACING MY NEXT TROPIC ORDER TOMORROW NIGHT and there’s SO many prizes and freebies to be had this month!

So if you need a skincare top-up, want to try one of these, or want me to build you a simple routine from scratch, DM me SKIN tonight/tomorrow and I’ll sort it with you.

No guessing. No buying 47 products. Just the RIGHT ones

I used to think I needed a break.

A day off. A holiday. A few hours where nobody needed anything from me.

And let’s be serious… I definitely needed those too 😂

But there was something underneath it that took me a long time to admit.

I missed having agency over my own life.

I’d chosen to stay home with my boys. I wanted to be the one raising them. I didn’t want a career that required me to hand over huge chunks of these years just so I could earn money again (and let’s not minimise the importance of income).

But I also hadn’t realised how much of me would disappear in the process.

The ambition.

The challenge.

The satisfaction of working towards something.

The feeling of earning my own money.

The ability to say yes to something I wanted without mentally calculating whether I could justify it.

And I think there are so many mums sitting in that exact mental dilemma.

You don’t want to go back to your old life.

You don’t want to escape the life you have now.

You just want more choice inside it.

A random Tuesday where you can make the plans.

Have the coffee.

Take your babies somewhere because you fancy it.

Work on something that lights your brain up.

Earn money.

Feel like you.

And still be the one there for the ordinary bits you never wanted to miss in the first place.

That’s what I’m building now.

Not a life I need a weekend (or a solo all inclusive) to recover from.

A life where a completely unremarkable Tuesday can feel like mine 🌿

If you’ve been feeling something you haven’t quite been able to put into words lately… maybe this is it.

I didn’t want another job after becoming a mum.

I wanted something that gave me more CHOICE

More flexibility

More purpose

More income

Without asking me to miss the moments I’d never get back

Because becoming a mum didn’t make me less ambitious. It actually changed what ambition needed to look like.

I didn’t want to choose between being present for my boys and building something that was mine.

I wanted both.

That’s what I’ve been creating with Tropic over the past year: not an escape from motherhood, and not a return to my old life.

A third option.

A life where an ordinary Tuesday belongs to you.

Maybe your Tuesday Dream looks like more time with your children. Maybe it’s contributing financially, having goals again, or simply having more say over how your week looks.

It doesn’t have to be flashy.

It just has to feel like yours.

If you’ve been craving more choice in the life you’re already living, DM me TUESDAY and I’ll tell you more 🌿✨

Your makeup base is probably not the problem… but your skin prep might be!

Because if your foundation is clinging, looking textured, sitting in pores or just refusing to give you that smooth, glassy finish — adding MORE makeup isn’t necessarily the answer.

Sometimes you need to ace the skin underneath the base first.

And this is my dark horse product for doing exactly that: Tropic’s Fruit Smooth Serum🍋‍🟩✨

We were taught for YEARS that exfoliating meant attacking our faces with gritty scrubs until they felt squeaky clean (and raw 🤦‍♀️).

But those harsh, abrasive particles can be way too aggressive - especially if you’re scrubbing hard or using them frequently (me using daily scrubs in 2011 - completely clueless!). They can irritate the skin and disrupt your skin barrier, leaving you with exactly what you don’t want:

Dryness
Sensitivity
Inflammation
More visible texture
Redness & stinging

Fruit Smooth takes a completely different approach.

Instead of physically scrubbing away at your skin, it uses gentle exfoliating acids and fruit-derived ingredients to loosen and lift away dull surface skin, while helping skin look brighter and smoother.

And THIS is why I love it the night before a makeup day.

It gives you that ridiculously soft, polished, glassy feeling without needing to scrub your face into submission 😂

The result?

✨ Smoother-looking texture
✨ Brighter, fresher skin
✨ Makeup that glides on rather than clings
✨ A much more flawless-looking base
✨ All without that stripped, tight feeling afterwards

I genuinely think Fruit Smooth is one of Tropic’s dark horse products because everyone talks about what foundation or primer they’re using…

…but sometimes the secret to better makeup is actually better skin underneath it.

Ace your skin → ace your base 🤌🏼

If your makeup has been looking cakey, textured or just meh lately, message me BASE and I’ll help you work out what your skin actually needs🤍

I never expected to become a stay-at-home mum.

Truthfully, I thought I’d always be “doing more”. Building. Achieving. Being it all at the same.

But after burnout, motherhood and completely re-evaluating what I wanted my life to feel like… everything shifted.

And while I genuinely love being home with my boys, I also think we need to be more honest about the parts of being a SAHM people don’t talk about enough:

The identity loss. The financial stretch. The mental load. The loneliness some days. The feeling of wanting something that belongs to YOU again.

Not because motherhood isn’t enough. But because you’re still a whole person too.

Finding a way to build income from my phone during nap times and evenings changed so much for me. Not just financially, but mentally. I feel challenged again. Motivated again. Like I’m building a future for my family without sacrificing these years with my children.

If you’re on maternity leave or navigating SAHM life and quietly wondering if there could be another way to do this…

You’re not the only one 🌿

DM me “CURIOUS” if you want to chat honestly about what I’ve been building and what this could do for you

The internet talks about stay-at-home mums like we’re all softly lit trad wives baking banana bread in matching linen sets all day…. IF ONLY 🤣

Meanwhile most of us are surviving on one income, reheating the same cup of coffee 4 times, carrying the entire mental load of the household and running on an overstimulated nervous system.

Motherhood is beautiful. But let’s stop pretending it isn’t also relentless sometimes.

To be honest, I realised pretty quickly that I didn’t just want to ‘get through’ these years. I wanted motherhood to feel more expansive. More spacious. More supported.

That’s why I started building income from my phone during nap times. Tiny pockets of work that now help create more choice, more breathing room, and little luxuries that make life feel softer without sacrificing being present with my kids.

Not because I want to escape motherhood.
Because I want to enjoy it more (and outsource the washing!) 🌿✨

I think more Mums NEED to hear this about network marketing.

People are quick to judge it… and throw terms like ‘pyramid scheme’ around (which by the way, are illegal!) but when you actually look at the structure of most traditional workplaces, they’re literally built like pyramids too!!

At your workplace is there:
A small number of people at the top
Managers in the middle
Employees at the bottom keeping everything running

So the difference between traditional jobs and network marketing?

In most traditional jobs:

🌿your income is capped
🌿your schedule is generally dictated
🌿progression takes years
🌿you’re often building somebody else’s dream (on a 2% annual pay rise if you’re lucky)
🌿capped annual leave and permission required

What shocked me about network marketing was how supportive it actually was, and that every single person who joins has the same opportunity to succeed.

🌿you don’t need business experience
🌿you can earn whatever you want to
🌿you can work whenever/wherever you want
🌿you don’t need loads of money to start (I started with £66!)
🌿you’re surrounded by people actively WANTING to help you succeed because your growth benefits everyone
🌿there’s no targets or pressure (in my business anyway!)

That by no means makes this easy.

It’s still a business, it still takes consistency, people skills, resilience & time.

But for Mums especially? The flexibility and potential can genuinely change lives - it opened a door for me id been searching for for years.

Being able to work around naps, nursery mornings, school runs and family life instead of trying to squeeze family around work… that matters.

And honestly (THANKFULLY) I think more women are waking up to the fact that there might be another way to build income without burning themselves into the ground.

That’s why I started, at 8 weeks postpartum. Because respectfully, I’m not giving the best of years of my life to build someone else’s dream 🌿✨
