“This is the first time I’ve been able to play together with my brother" 💙

Callum recently visited The Haven Centre with his brother as part of a get-together organised by a group of families whose children use wheelchairs.

While the parents had the chance to catch up with one another, Callum and his brother could spend time playing together, with Callum telling us how special it was to be able to enjoy that time with his brother and help look after him too.

For us, this is exactly what we want The Haven Centre to make possible.

A space where families and friends can come together, where different needs have been considered, and where brothers and sisters can simply enjoy being brothers and sisters.

Thank you to the families for spending the day with us, and to Callum for letting us share such a special moment. 💙

Did you know The Haven Centre can also be used for meetings, training and professional events? 💙

We welcome enquiries from charities, carer networks, health and therapy professionals, and training providers whose work supports disabled children, young people and their families.

The Centre’s spaces can be used for meetings, training sessions, workshops, information events and other professional or community gatherings.

Catering can also be provided by The Haven Café on request, making it easier to organise everything in one place.
